You can now is the new version of our Map Maker program at the normal link:

MAP MAKER

Please take a look and post any suggestions or bugs here. Your input is much appreciated.

Below is a list of the improvements we were able to make to the program with the assigned funding. We were able to add all existing Game Tile pieces, but it was not possible to add any of the older sets. Perhaps we can do that at a later time.

Upgrades from Version 1.0

More Game Tiles All Game Tiles are included, including the Kickstarter stretch goals.
Load & Save Maps Save and load multiple named maps to your computer or device.
Multiple Tile Selection You can select multiple tiles and then move and rotate them.
Tile List View and print list of tiles used in your map or any shared map.
Instant Map Info Look at the bottom bar when building a map for an instant tile count and tile area coverage.
Add Text To Maps Annotate maps with text using the annotations menu.
Stack Tiles Move tiles up and down in their z order, so you can show or hide overlapping tiles.

With the cool free tool, you can design some great maps ahead of time, add text as you see fit, and print out the tile Inventory and maps. It should be a very useful tool for DMs.

I think its worth mentioning more obviously
"to rotate, click an already selected piece"

I found it a little tough to find that direction in the existing help and I would expect it to be a fairly common first question when getting started.

Also some oddities:
clicking to rotate a set of selected figures is only rotating them by 180 degrees not 90. Looking like its because its a rectangular region of the screen. If I have a square region it goes 90 per click. However since the rectangle itself isn't being rotating and the location of the tiles aren't changing it seems very counter-intuitive.
Move up/Move down: doesn't seem to work. I had a small stair on top of a 4x6 floor. Once I selected teh floor it came to the top and I couldn't get it to go below the stair again.

I too encounter difficulties with rotating groups of tiles - in one instance some of the tiles rotated independant of the others but that could have been user error - group rotate is slow (which is ok, once you know) and i may have just clicked too many times

minor thing - stretch goal demon door is red (used to be green) - i am guessing this happened when the red one was created for COS - could we get the green one back please ;)

got kids going crazy so not a lot of time to play but so far i like what i see a LOT

Thanks
