If we reach our $50,000 goal we will start adding more pieces to the basic deals and they will get better and better!
The massive appeal to the Bones KS was how absurdly good the deal ended up becoming. Not just more (though the final mini count does border on the obscene), but the diversity of the additions from the stretch goals. If we, your minions, surpass the goal by leaps and bounds, I would humbly suggest tossing in some of the fine small do-dads and/or individual accessories for at least those mid to upper tier of contributors. A pile of coins (Treasure set), a wall of flames (WE3), etc.

Zazulu,
I understand your wish , but bones was sort of a different animal in that you probably don't want 200 skeletons or 200 specialized figures...at the same time I myself felt that I only really wanted half or less of the figures that were offered...since I owned many of them already and some of them just didn't fit my intentions...don't get me wrong, it was a great deal!
But I feel our deal is even better simply because of the nature of the pieces we are offering...they are like dungeon Lego and more of the same just makes them better...there is nothing wasted, no filler....we plan a follow up to this first offering that will include MUCH diversity and which will be available right about the time folks get their first game tile sets!

I am just waiting for Monday to roll around so I can pledge. I doubt it will take more than a day or two to hit 50k if we all kick down $250. But I can forsee an inreased pledge coming too as newrewards are added.

:: Nods :: I agree entirely. I actually split the bill on my Vampire pledge. The figures I didn't want, a buddy of mine did, and visa versa. (We both added a bunch of the other stuff, though.)

I am hopeful we will do well. I really want to see every gaming group in the world have access to great 3D dungeon terrain. I think it would do wonders for the popularity of RPGs if Game Tiles were used everywhere. Newcomers would be much more likely to be enthralled by D&D during their first session if the DM had a great DF 3D dungeon on the table.

I am much too close to this project to do any kind of prediction. What I will predict is that whomever takes part in the project, if we get funded, will be very happy with their Game Tiles.

I completely agree; DF can bring more people to the game. And the more affordable, the more it will draw in.

I recently joined the ranks of DF addicts and was showing images of a dungeon I had constructed to a non-gamer friend; someone who has continually refused to join me for a D&D session, mind you. Unbelievably, after seeing the images, he said he'd like to give it a try. Amazing. These things are (+1) magic.

This is freaking scary...at the rate the Kickstarter is going it's on target to fund @ $2.8Million!!! That's roughly less than $16K from what I predicted! Damn, I wish I could predict the winning Lotto Numbers as easily! :)
