On a slightly different note. Rember the futurama episodes that featured the radioactive sewer and crumbling ruins of Old New York? I thought that would make a lovely sci-fi twist to the rivers set. New/old ruins, and pipes spilling glowing green goo.

Just a thought.

Nanite;

I doubt if anyone will object to re-opening an old thread, the way you have done it.
As far as the pipes are concerned, have you looked at the 'Pipe Dreams' thread in Cool Photos? Invincible Overlord (known here on the bbs as IO) has done some INCREDIBLE work with PVC pipe and SCI_FI Alpha hatches.

Something to think about.

See ya!

Thanks for the welcome by the way.

Very nice additions, those pipes!

Showing your age there with that slip Jim.
A lot of these kids do not even know what you are talking about with that abbreviation.

Nanite,

I second Jim in saying to you there is no problem with opening old threads.
Sometimes, in my opinion, they really do need to be re-visited.
Thank you for doing so here and on other threads.

RF* -

Re: the age-definer slip, in there.

Remember that Barbara Mandrell song? Hey, I was PC, when PC wasn't cool - and I DON'T mean Politically Correct (I've NEVER been accused of THAT!).

Besides, although THIS isn't the correct forum or thread for it, don't you think we NEED to edumacate these young whippersnappers on here about how it was back in the old days of 300 baud? :D :D :D

See ya!
