If you go to the luggage section at Walmart, they sell a lightweight dollie for about $14. It's one of those fold-up types that can be easily stored. It has a rubber strap on it to hold the boxes in place (mine holds about 6 DF boxes). I usually make about two trips with it to carry my DF stuff from the car. I'll probably buy another one and just roll the stuff to my closet for storage.

I Certainly Agree that DF Boxes are Good for Long Distance and Infrequent Travel... Not Sure I Like Having to Unpack them to Use the Stuff However, Not to Mention Having to Move Stuff I Do Not Need, And Of Course Stacking the Empties, Repacking Etc... That's the Clinch... Sounds like Once You Get that Crane Mounted on the Porch You'll be Set though!...<Grin>...
"Who's been holding up the damn Transporter?"

...so much for convenience in long-distance moving!

Kirk, you lied to us again!

See ya!

I mostly game at home for all MM applications, with one exception, International Games Day. My FLGS participates every year and I run every year I am not deployed.

I get the GM packet for the game(s) I will run, replicate the "Poster-Maps" with MM kits, pre-build and stage, then disassemble the pre-builds in coordinated sections and just solidly fill-pack 2-3 DF standard boxes with the Foam insert removed. The trip is short and the stuff is durable and solidly piled into the box (neatly) there is little or no shifting anyway.

Usually used for about a sq. yard setup, maybe two separate ones I can quickly change between.

One thing it takes is practice on teardown and setup to speed thru it. My table is always awestruck and drooling.

I do keep all the boxes and inserts at home in storage for full-blown moving, and thankfully have only had to do it once. My Game Room walls are racked with shelves of DF sorted and stacked ready to go at a moment's notice for any setting/setup.

Wow !! This has to be a threadnomancy record ... almost 4 years after the last post !!!!

Welcome to the Forums, fulongamer !!! You'll find a lot of great stuff that goes way back around here ... you may just not want to resurrect them all ;) Do a user search for "Invincible Overlord" in the cool photos section to see his amazing setups ... just be sure to hold your jaw so you don't crack it on the floor :D

Again, welcome aboard !!!
