TOPIC: Year of Sci-Fi

Grendel makes a great set of interior pieces that work very well with a space bar motif; DF could most likely make a DF-specific set, but that would be the only real advantage - and it would take away from their making OTHER Sci-Fi stuff.
And yes, RF* - and others - this is a discussion we've had many, many times before. And almost all of us will keep our same opinions.
But it does make for a lovely fight.

See ya!

No need for a fight Jim. ;)
I think you just need to understand Jim that a lot of us Sci-Fi gamers are feeling left out in the cold as far as releases.
There is so much that is not available that is needed either to get us caught up with fantasy as far as flexibility and/or simply to make the make the SciFi Master Maze system interesting to more new users, we all just feel a bit neglected Jim.
This is especially so with some of the latest new releases and what sounds to be released just over the New Year horizon.
Celtchief is just sounding the clarion call for more Sci-Fi Master Maze and genre-specific accessories that all of us Sci-Fi enthusiasts desire.
Nothing wrong with that, is there Jim? :/

RF*;

You didn't notice that I had my tongue in my cheek, did you?
OF COURSE I want DF to do a round of accessories for Sci-Fi! You've already talked me around to that viewpoint.
What I was saying to Celtchief is that Grendel ALREADY HAS a space bar-type set; the advantage to DF doing one is that it would more closely conform to DF designs and setups, including decor, color scheme, and details - PLUS have the advantage of being prepainted!
To toss your own quote back at you, take a chill pill; we're on the same team here, just different flanks!
So, if DF does this kind of furniture set, will we be double-spaced?

Just a little keyboard humor, there.

See ya!

While I would love to see DF do a 'space bar' set some day, my personal opinion is that there's quite a few other sci-fi sets that should come first. Command/control and engineering themed sets are probably the ones I'd like to see first. Of course I'm sure each of us has slightly different preferences in what order we'd like to see sci-fi sets released.

And granted... I do have some of Tony's ebay pieces that are awaiting painting, so those can tide me over for the short term (assuming I actually do get off my butt and paint them).
