Nice work!

Yes, Ice caves would be very cool...I've been thinking about how to produce them and seeing your results is very encouraging...perhaps I could include a few ice type creatures along with such a set? Perhaps even some made up creatures you guys could invent stories about? I always thought that might be an interesting idea...

I would have thought the most important part of the "Ice Effect" would be in the finishing i.e. the painting and glazing of snow/ice respectively on the resin pieces. Although I agree it would look absolutely fantastic, I am not sure about the generic useability of such a set. Would people ever want to buy more than 1 set, unless they were running a long term 'Ice World' campaign.Could be a good seller for a limited edition run though.

On similar lines, what about a lava theme as well? You could even make rooms that attempt to combine the two, with 'melted' ice/slush and patches of bare rock. We could all re-run the classic AD&D G1-G3 series with full Dwarven Forge dungeons then!

I don't know how I missed the latest photos for so long -- looking great!

See, now I'm thinking I could go either way on the ice/lava thing. I still think that my games/display taste would get more out of lava material, but at the same time, I also recognize that only with ice do you get such fantastic, funky building materials. Lava is pretty much just river.

Stefan, if you want to make an ice cavern, you go right ahead!!!! :D

I think those homemade ice floors, walls, overhangs, they all look frickin' amazing. I may have to dig out my old Mega Bloks ice accessories. (of course, they WILL look somewhat out of place in the Caverns of Quetl-chupacabra....)

As for any "official" ice cavern from DF, here's what I'd love to see:

Some basic building elements for an ice cave -- detailed appropriately.
Some moveable ice walls to go anywhere
Some placeable ice "overhangs" that can be placed on walls, or on floors, ANYWHERE, including non-ice caverns.

Very very very neat....
