Stefan,

You will not fail. The strength of a man is his resolve before a battle. His passion is his willingness to put everything on the line for a battle. You will be successful. Stand tall and be proud. Your project has a 17 year foundation. You will succeed. I will continue to invest in you, as will others. We will succeed.

Agreed, I hope it's compatible with the current line. It has to be! :)

Pure speculation, but I've seen a lot of terrain made with recycled rubber (tires). I have some and it's good but I don't know if you can get the detail needed for DF quality. My rubber terrain are mostly rocks.

The new line will be compatible with the Resin line...it's made from an awesome grey material that is not at all fragile and requires no Styrofoam packaging! I don't think it is rubber or plastic, but something in between...it weighs just about as much as our other stuff so it feels real high quality!

....details are just as great but there are limitations because of the metal molds required...some sides have to be shallow in detail...I addressed this when sculpting them and I absolutely believe that they look just as good as our resin products, at least in this first basic block form...something like a cavern set might be more of a challenge, but we will figure that out If we are at first successful...

And Stefan has/had some doubts that all us 'DF' patrons might not want in on this !?!?

Hope it's well-organized!

One problem I've seen with KS is its "linearity". Frex, the first pledge level had product A, the next A+B, the third A+B+C. Well, what if you wanted C but not A or B? Similarly for stretch goals, I'm nitpickily annoyed if the next stretch goal is for something I'm not interested in (eg. Reaper's IMEF Marines for a predominantly fantasy miniatures KS).

I find add-ons often confusing and messy. I just found out about Loka (?) a few days ago, but since it's nearly over, I don't even know what a complete game is -- do they mean the pieces before stretch goal? Or the pieces they *wanted* to put into the base game but couldn't until a certain stretch goal was achieved?

Since this is a miniatures product, have pics of the product with commonly used miniatures. DF already does this well, but, again, Loka and Zombicide have all these pictures of their own miniatures and I don't know their scale and detail relative to other models. Maybe have pics to suggesting how to integrate DF 3D products with existing 2D ones (eg. Descent tiles, D&D Adventure System tiles).

Speaking of existing 2D tiles, I sure would like stuff like dungeon accessories I can use with my 2D tile sets, without having to buy 3D dungeon tiles. Oh, and inexpensive slap-together buildings I can use for my Song and Blades games.

Looking forward to Monday!

One thing we have tried very hard to do was to make it all very simple and easy to understand...there are no add ons...
