You guys are so AWESOME 3 Years, 3 Months ago
So -- since, as some of you know, I recently lost ALL my photos when my laptop died, I have been combing through the Photo Galleries gathering up all the pics I have posted, as well as handfuls of pics other people have posted.

And you know, having spent the last week or two combing through pics of the cavern sets, the chasm accessories, the Hellscape sets, the MBS sets, the ruins... damn, this stuff is AWESOME!

I think sometimes the craven enthusiasm for whatever is NEW (or upcoming) can make it easy to forget just how AWESOME every single release has been, and how great they look when you put a bunch of it all together.

The first time I laid eyes on DF back in 2001 it made me stop in my tracks and get back into a hobby I hadn't thought about in 15 years. It's been ten years now and I still can't get over how unique and how well-realized this stuff is. It's EXACTLY WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED.

Kudos, DF! I can't wait to see what comes next....

I echo L's sentiment. I have only been using DF for the past few months but it has fired my enthusiasm for my game like nothing else ever has. I have shelves and shelves of books that go back to 1980 when I first started this journey. But once I actually saw the Cavern Set on my table, my imagination was inspired like no book has been able to do.
Looking through the pics you all have posted has been a great resource and source of additional inspiration for how to use my new sets (and a few of the old ones I snagged on eBay). I have been trying to get a set or two each month and each time I get the package, it's just like Christmas when I was a little kid.
Keep up the good work everybody, and hats off to Stefan and Jeff who keep this great company's products available for us.

Dwarven Forge is a DnD nerd's wet dream. The first time I saw it, I thought
the same thing as Law "This is what I always wanted as a kid". I started collecting DF back in 99 or so and picked up about 9 sets around that time. You had to love how cheap they were back then:)

I recently got back to gaming and started ramping up the collection about
4 years ago. I usually try to buy 2 sets from DF on my birthday and 2-4 around christmas. I think I'm over 40 sets now plus a lot of individual pieces and accesories. The only line I have not dabbled in is the realm of the ancients which I might grab before it sells out. All that said........ it is not enough.

I only get to do a few full layouts a year but it's worth it to me to
always have the DF. I can build any dungeon any time I want. Half of
my fun is in designig and building the dungeon and the other half is seeing
the faces of my friends when they get jumped in the arrow slit room :)

This is a lot of rambling but I guess my point is, I like DF too.

Thanks so much Guys! It's great fun for me too. Besides getting to dream up and create kool pieces and actually make money doing it, this occupation has taken me to conventions all over the world and I've gotten to meet so many awesome people in the gaming industry and in far off lands...
I think that what I enjoy the most is knowing that I create things that give other creative people like myself hours of joy and puzzlement..the Forum itself has been a source of great inspiration and happiness for me (thanks Jeff)I really Love the comments I get when posting pictures of new stuff and getting immediate reaction to things we have sweated over for months....
Thank you so much everyone!
