Guest,

Thanks... I Have a Crazy tendency to Save bits of Stuff, "Just in Case"...<Chuckle>... I Never throw anything away unless I have to, so I have a lot of Pieces of Old Models, bits of Screen and other Odd ball "Stuff" In Junk Drawers and similar... Some day I'll have a Nice Functional Work Shop and ALL of this Stuff will Manifest as Kewl Ideas Become Tons of Other Stuff... I Guess I Really do need to Get a Digital Camera...<Grin>...

i tried to build stuff for a while w a little success but it was to time consuming

Really i think my true gift is in painting I love to sit down and just paint my face off. And i think they have turned out damn good. Had a lot of compliments too but that to is very time consuming.

I think the real issue is that im just lazy :)

I am an OK Painter I Guess, I Mean I Have Been Doing it Since I was a Kid before D&D Figs were even Available I Used to Paint My Hot Wheels, and 1/72nd Scale Soldiers and the Like... After The First Mad Max Movie (Late 70's? Maybe 1980), I Started Adding Weapons and Armour to the Hot Wheels. I Would Take the Weapons off of Model Kits (Especially Battle Ships and Airplanes), and Make the Armour out of Cut up Playing Cards, Then Paint the Whole Thing with Lots of Rust and Mud Effects... But I Never Really Got "Excellent" Because I Jump from Project to Project, I Love Building and Painting Something "Kewl"... But Never Really Practiced the Techniques of Advanced Shading, Inking and Layering... So Most of My Stuff Is essentially Primed, Base Coated and Dry Brushed... So a Good Example would be that Very Few of my Miniatures have Eyes painted on them, where as a Beard Would be... It always amazes me when I See Figs that have Not Only Multiple Levels of Inking and Shadeing but also Have Pupils in the Eyes...<Chuckle>...
