I'm a newbie, but the stuff I seem to need the most of so far is definitely

1) open water pieces (and maybe other lake pieces independently, like the sides)

2) corner cavern conversions (these are a must for making lots of small caverns given the 20x20 bases)

On Diagonal Walls: if you look hard enough online, you can still find some here and there.

My most wanted individual pieces:

6" straight cavernous passage
Wide Doors
Open Water Tiles (cheaper next time?)

7+ Cavernous Corner Conversions
11 6" cavernous passages
6 all-water tiles
1 6x6 room tile
12 Straight River pieces
6 down stair tiles
multiple DOE straight walls
multiple DOE straight passages
12 Cavernous corners

Guys;

AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! :O :O :O :O :O
I MUST confess to this weird urge to set up a long, sinuous Cavernous Passages line from the door to the basement (where the game table lives) around through the kitchen, dining room, and living room, to the steps going upstairs.
Now, this would be nigh-impossible, because I have ONE Cavernous Passages set, plus a bunch (uncounted, unspecified listing) of individual pieces. There is NO WAY on God's Green Earth that I have enough pieces to DO this, but I have the urge!
And, I'm going to blame it all on all of you guys!
Then again, if I used ALL my passage-type pieces, regardless of genre, I might be able to do it; if necessary, I could intersperse rooms, caverns, taverns, dungeons, etc. That might be enough.
Nah, because then I'd have to pick it all up before Sandy (or I) tripped over it and broke something - like my silly neck!
Oh well, it was a nice fantasy, while it lasted . . .

See ya!

Jim - you need more Cavernous Passage sets!

In addition to scrounging 3 More about Cavernous Passage Corner Conversion and 1 Cavern Corner Conversion I've also managed to find:

5 Curved Passageways
12 Diagonal Walls
12 Diagonal Floor
5 sets of Half-Walls
4 sets of Half Corners
10 Room Corners
5 Short Hallways
6 4-Way Narrow
8 T-Narrow
2 narrow Right-Angle
6 Narrow Dead Ends
8 Narrow Passges
2 Narrow-Wide Conversion
and 2 Extender Sets

All from American or Canadian on-line orders. I would much rather have bought that Narrow passage set I pieced together from Stefan & Jeff though :D

I would like some more cavern corners/complex corners, more open water pieces and 1 (yes, just 1 more to hit my 6 by 6 rule) cavern floor. Oh, and shed loads of 6" long cavernous passage pieces - jkratzer's urge is catching! Also - you can NEVER have too many 6" long standard vanilla walls - I need about another 10 of these too. My bank manager will be wincing this year, I suspect.

Jim,

My cavern complex is pretty massive. I'd show some pics but some of my players wander on here and they might get tipped off for our upcoming game retreat.

I am slightly disappointed with cavernous passages though... there really isn't enough room for two-person wide marching through the passages without cluttering the halls. Cavernous passages look pretty, but stink for game play with miniatures mounted on 1 inch bases. I am considering some Dremel work and repainting to clean out enough room on cavernous passage pieces to allow characters to march two-wide.... but that's going to be a lot of drilling and putty work not to mention painting to do.

I'll stick to bowties for now, lol
