"You can look at the menu but you just can't eat
You can feel the cushions but you cant have a seat
You can dip your foot in the pool but you cant have a swim
You can feel the punishment but you can't commit the sin
And you want her and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame"

RF* -

Calm down, you'll have a stroke or something.
Geez, you sound like me; sorry if that upsets you .

Anyway, I went to the Paizo page, joined the forum, read the posts, and now I know what I'm ordering two of tomorrow. At least! it's something I've needed for A WHILE and didn't realize it until I read the descriptions.

To quote Dr. Sam Beckett; "Oh Boy; oh boy!"

See ya!

Jim

PS: and I chastized Lord whatsizname while I was there. Come to think of it, Lord Vile was a frequent ranter on the GW Usenet thread, now that I think of it. THAT'S where I recognized that handle!
And he was a foul-mouthed little twerp there, too!
Betcha he got thrown off that forum, too!

Next time otherworld, when you feel like whipping out your blame brush again, you might do a whole lot more reading and digesting first and then be a great deal more judicious, maybe even humble, in your accusations, eh?
I'm sure that what Otherworld meant to say was that everyone on the planet was accusing Dungeon, and not just members of this board. In fact, if one interprets the statement in its broadest possible sense, then everyone who has ever been alive on this planet throughout its history has accused Dungeon of being to blame. Yep. I'm almost certain that's what he meant. Almost definitely.

Wait...with a name like Otherworld, surely he must believe that there's life on other planets! He must be including those sentient beings in his statement as well.

Then again, it could be just a little harmless hyperbole used in order to make a point.

...nah.

Well, I just saw the ad. I was about to order one cavernous river and one canvernous lake set (while being disappointed that I really need at least two of each to get good use of them), that all just changed. I am now going to order 3 of the mystery sets. This is much more useful for me and my gaming group.

My wife said that when I flipped open the back page to Dungeon 134 I starred and looked like Malcome Reynolds in Firefly when he first saw river and said, "Huh." Before I saw it I was wondering what had excited people so much, then as my brain absorbed the ad it just sort of stopped my previous plans and showed me how often I could use this set. Huh! DF did it again. A new useful core set. Hats off to yee!
I look forward to the newletter and ability to order tomorrow.

Well, I *still* don't know what the mystery set is (I've successfully manage to stay away from certain postings that allegedly describe it) but I've already told my wife that if it's really great, I have to get at least two. I've been selling off some of my old, well-worn gaming stuff (terrain and minis) on eBay to gather up some funds for the new "investment". ;-}~

I'm surprised that every seems to think that Dungeon Magazine is to blame!
So otherworld, everyone here has been blaming Dungeon for the mix up?
Might I have you point out to us otherworld where I blamed Dungeon?
I have been part of this thread prior to your posting quoted here.

This will be quite entertaining for all of us to see otherworld because I did NOTHING of any sort that you are accusing me of along with everyone else here.

Next time otherworld, when you feel like whipping out your blame brush again, you might do a whole lot more reading and digesting first and then be a great deal more judicious, maybe even humble, in your accusations, eh?

Cat...shoe...clang?

Kitty...sneaker...gong?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the solution is something dirty, which makes me want to know all the more.
