I don't know if this was a miscalculation or not, but anyone who has a copy of the latest issue of Dungeon (issue #138) can take a gander at must surely be the mystery set, in full color on the inside of the back cover. I won't spill the beans for anyone who still wants to be surprised, but I will say that it looks fantastic!

Oh, and I'll also say that it's not a sewer set. I guess I have to wait for that one a little longer. :(

I stopped buying Dungeon and Dragon, mostly due to monetary concerns, but also when the went to v 3.0 and started adding (IMHO) too many Sci-fi and just totally non-useful material. I figure there should be a separate magazine for Sci-Fi. I just miss the Dragon of old.

In any case, how about scanning an image and posting it to an external web site? :)

62 sets and counting. In addition, a boatload of individual pieces or sets of pieces.

YK, you must be one of those lucky people who get their Dungeon magazine right after it ships to subscribers. The Paizo website says issue 138 (the September issue) didn't ship until July 18. I hope I get my copy soon. It usually takes about a week for it to get to me.

Weaverjk, you might want to give Dungeon and Dragon another look now. I too had become dissatisfied for a while with both magazines, but now they are back in full gear. Erik Mona and James Jacobs over at Paizo are doing an excellent job in my view. For Dungeon, the Shackled City and Age of Worms adventure paths, as well as a good number of individual adventures, have just been absolute masterpieces in my opinion. They've made it possible for me to DM a whole campaign for a whole group of players when at this point in my life I'd never find the time to create a campaign from scratch on my own.

As for Dragon magazine, I was even more reluctant to get back my subscription for that because it was not as immediately useful as Dungeon and its constant supply of great adventures. But now Dragon has some great recurring features such a a series of articles on various faiths of core D&D deities (even if you use homebrew deities, I think you could still find these a great source of ideas for how to flesh out various religions). And then there is another recurring feature: Demonomicon of Iggwilv. These articles cover the classic demon lords from First Edition in great detail such as history, worshipers, followers, schemes, and statistics. Finally, Dragon now also runs articles that support the ongoing adventure paths in Dungeon magazine with backdrop articles and other support.
