Okay, here's the next (still draft) version of the Inventory Spreadsheet. It's Almost finalized. I spent all freaking night on it. I'll be done once I get the "Piece Sets" portion of the "Figuring Counts" sheet completed. It took my most of the night to go through and add the counts of each set, add about 5 pieces I missed, rename things, re-categorize things, and get the "Figuring Counts" sheet to figure the Main Sets, Accessories Sets, and Figure Sets. The last part for me to do, which should take another full night (which I probably won't have until Sunday or Tuesday) to complete the "Pieces - Sets" portion of the "Figuring Counts" sheet. Then, it'll be complete.

So, here's a look at the next-to-final spreadsheet, Draft 005.

home.comcast.net/~jkwmisc/DF/DwarvenForgeMain.html

I really want to complete it today, but I normally go to bed by 09:00 on Thursdays as I work Friday night ....and I still have about 4+ hours of cooking to do today (making large batches of chicken soup for freezing).

62 sets and counting. In addition, a boatload of individual pieces or sets of pieces.

weaverjk;

I'm lucky in another way; all of my boxes still have original price stickers on them, or are still current production and listed.
It will make it easier for me when I finally get the Access database started.

I just got your sheets. Cool Tool.

I don't know if I want to total it out. I'd hate to think what percentage of my car I have in DF. Lets just say 2-4 of every
set save the octagonal room set (never tracked them down on ebay at the right time). And LOTS of individual pieces.
Very Scary

Serra -

Just remember; every indie piece you buy is one less drink at the local pub.
Every set is one less party night, same place.
Every D&D/D20/other universe game is one less night doing things you may regret in the AM.
Every game is a night spent doing things that are fun, much cheaper than the night spent clubbing, and the only thing you will regret in the morning is time spent away from your significant other - and if SO is also a gamer, you CAN do both! (It's how I ultimately wound up with Sandy, and 11 years later, we're STILL playing games [NO, not just THOSE!])

Gaming is better than drinking, partying, and sex - well, okay, maybe not sex. But it beats the other two, because you can do those at the same time as the game! If your GM is good, you can do those AS PART OF the game! Just remember to have a designated driver. PLEASE.

See ya!

I don't have time to drink or hang out in bars. I like my brain cells intact and undamaged.

I can spend hours tinkering with layouts to get the perfect setup. Sometimes I pick a few sets and the
challenge is to use every piece and make a cool layout. Actually I only have 1 ogre's den. That's one
I have not seen in a while. I should search ebay periodically for a second one. I think to me they are
sort of a surrogate for the fancy lego's I wanted as a child but so way cooler. I love using the 2 narrow
passage sets I picked up to build dungeon blocks with small cells. I need to mod some small doors with tiny
little barred windows to complete the effect. And add some chains on the walls like bombanat's cell pieces.
Boy what an artist. Oh yeah and mod a few narrow dead ends with tiny barred windows too.

My partner and I have been gamers for 20+ years (did I just say that, showing my age). I meant 10
yeah 10. You believe me riiiight. I'll never admit to being more than 29, never. Anyway... it's how we
met at GA Tech (yes I'm a rambling wreck). RPG and Strategy and Fantasy board games. And good
computer RPG's and strategy games. The old classics. Planescape and BG II are two of my all-time favs.
No time spent on them is ever wasted.

Must find some time and a much bigger table to play with the new caverns. 3 river sets and 4 lake sets
plus my caverns could span my whole living room (not quite but certainly all the free floor space).
Definitely need more straight and curved river sections and plain lake water floor sections. I see that now.
I liked someone's suggestion of taking a pic before removing the lake pieces so they know where to
put them back. Glad I was just looking a one set. I think I may number mine on the bottom and label
the boxes so I can get then back in properly when I am done.

Thank you for this list :(
We have a pile of stuff here at our club, and I just ordered some DoE sets, but I now realise what I do not have yet :/
I think I'll just not worry about getting everything and have some fun with the stuff we have

I only have 24 years. :-( but on the bright side I probably have 50 more to go.... YeeHaw
How many sets will Stefan have created by then and how many will I own. I need to start to plan on having a 1 car garage dedicated to Stefan's art!

Thank you Shadox for the kind words. they are much appreciated. Just last week I finally had to go to the eye doctor and found out that my right eye is not as good as my left...just as I have been suspecting these last few years...so, I now utilize glasses for reading and for sculpting those little dwarven forge details...glasses for everyday life may not be far behind now....

The good news, I suppose is that these new spectacles have allowed me to see all those little details a bit better and I am using this new "super" vision to good effect on the latest DF project...mostly for tiny little cracks...yes, that's a hint...wwwwmmmhhhaaaaa!!! mmmmwwhhhaaaaaa!!!!

PS
I think I have around 28 years...I learned to play when i was about 12years old at camp Mah-ke-nak from a bugged out archery counselor named Doug. he got our whole bunk hooked on the D&D...he used to dress like a ranger and had a walking stick for effect. I wish I could someday locate him and relate all that has come to pass because of his influence...

Hey Shadox,
Looks like we started gaming about the same time :) It'll be 24 years this year since we first cracked open that first Expert D&D box all so many years ago.

For us, the corrupting factor was a kid in our class who got this cool new game from the US after his dad was over on a business trip.

24 years later, I'm still gaming. Can't say the same for that first group of ours. Most of the group 'grew up' and got responsible lives.

Only a couple of us are still gamers.......and much to my parent's shame, I'm still playing with toys.

Problem is that the toys is starting to take over the house :D

Stefan, if you keep producing more sets, I'm gonna have to take over the house next door to stash my stuff!! :)

Keep up the good work!!
