Please see home.comcast.net/~jkwmisc/DF/DwarvenForgeMain.html

I have started an MS Excel spreadsheet as a blank for for inventorying DF products.
I'd like to list every DF product ever made.
I'd like to use this to provide a complete list of how many of each and every piece a person owns.
Eventually, I will be breaking sets down, such as the Half Walls set includes 2 Right and 2 Left walls. The end Count page will break things down to that level of detail.
I started this as I wanted to plug into the TileSystem software how many of each piece I own. I want a useful tool to be able to keep my product list up-to-date.

If possible, I'd like to have a software/dateabase tool that reports back which sets/individual pieces will be required to complete a setup as entered by the user (a person creates a layout with Tilsystem, runs the TS Report which identifies how many of each product to use, that report is imported (it would be nice to automate this) into the spreadsheet or database, and the inventory program reports back which boxed sets and or individual pieces are required to build the layout). I am only working on an MS Excel spreadsheet. My programming skills are 20 years out of date. Although I have the brain for programming and databases, I haven't kept up with the stuff for the past 20 years so I couldn't create the software I want to.

I would appreciate your input.
-- what items are missing from the inventory list?
-- do you have ideas how to make the inventory system?
-- do you have the programming skills to make it all come together? If so, would you be willing to spend the time to do so?
-- anything else I've missed.

Thank you DF fans.

MM 005 is the 30 Short Passages Set. I have one, and it contains 30 short (2") passage pieces. I'll check on the price tag that it has when I go downstairs later.

You should also add the other products that Dwarven Forge has produced, like the Lizardman tribe, the Treasure Set, etc.

Nice start on the spreadsheet.

Okay, now I'm scared. I just used your Inventory list, and excluding the furniture sets, Lizardmen, and extra Attached Wide Doors, the retail total for my Master Maze collection (including the Cavernous River and Walls sets and the Lake sets I've ordered) are over $4,100.

If my wife ever sees this list, my Diplomacy modifier for buying more Master Maze will be at -20 at least!

Let's just keep this between us, shall we?

Well, over 4 kilo-$ that is a fair amount of money. My current statistic says that I will cross the 3 kilo-$ (and approximately also the 3 kilo-€ mark) with the cavernous lakes order. And those statistics did not include the high shipping costs for DF direct orders. I just use a very simple formely MS Excel now Open Office Calc sheet to keep a little track of what and how many DF stuff I bought at which price, quasi a very basic version of what weaverjk is going to create.

@Kradlo: maybe you'd better create a password for that file and additionally store it in an encrypted file system and then forgot the password/key :D

I'm making the file Top Secret, and since my old security clearance in the USAF was only Secret, even I won't know about it. How's that?'

Hm...it's odd that MM-005 still showed up as missing on the list. I fixed it just minutes after my first upload and uploaded the file again. I found a DF thread that listed it as 30 pieces for $120. Thanks for the info however.
If the MM-005 information is still missing from the spreadsheet the next time you check it (perhaps make sure IE's "automatically update every visit to the page" is turned on), please let me know. Using Comcast's tools, I accidently copied the first file to about four locations on the web site. I need to get my FTP software installed so I have more control and know what I'm doing. :)

LOL Kradlo about the TS. Yeah, my clearance isn't that high either. What file were we talking about again? ;)

I'm adding the split-up/individual pieces today if I can. I won't get a lot of it done as I'm headed to work.

Thanks to Kraldo and another individual for confirming the MM-005 is actually named the "30 Short Passages Set." I had pulled the "Straight Passages Set" name from one of the DF Forum Threads posted by someone who did not own the set but was trying to remember the name of it. Tomorrow, I'll link an updated spreadsheet. Again, please keep in mind this is a Draft version of the sheet and does NOT yet contain the functionality I want it to (the Count sheet will break everything down into its components so that you'll know exactly how many of each piece you have for those people that like to use software such as the Tilesystem software to design DF setups).

Here's something I need information about.
The Swivelling and Slamming Walls set.
The DF picture indicates 1 Swivelling and 1 Slamming Wall.
The Trap set that these come in contains (as I recall - I'm at work and not near my sets) One 2" and One 6" Swivelling wall (Pivots at the center) and One 2" Slamming Wall (Pivots near one side).

So...what does the actual S&S Wall set have in it? Just what the picture shows or does it contain all three pieces described above or some other combination?

Thanks!

Okay - a few other pieces of information I need are (if anyone has it):
Breakdown of the following "sets:"
Scrolls and Magic Tome
Magical Weapons and Armor
Greek Vases
Grain Sack Piles
Light Barrels & Crate Stack
Chests
Coin Stacks and Piles
Assorted Urns and Pots
Assorted Sacks and Crude Wooden Chest

Yeah, I know, this is too much detail, but that's just me.
While I own a few of these (multiple sets of the Greek Vases, Grain Sack Piles, Light Barrels & Crate Stack, & Chests), I no longer have the original boxes or anything as I've cut out sections in a BattleHive II and categorized everything together. All of the grain sack piles of one size are in one cut-out, all the larger grain sack piles are in another cut-out.
I will attempt to go through and figure out how much I have of each and divide by the number of sets I ordered to determine how many of each item is contained in each set.

However, if anyone has the sets as they were originally purchased (not mixed in with other sets), I would appreciate knowing the contents and quantity of each of the sets listed above.

Again, it may be overkill, but that's just me. I'm going to sort this thing out down to entries like this, "Small Stack of Coins, Silver," "Small Stack of Coins, Gold," "Large Pile of Coins, Silver, " "Large Pile of Coins, Gold," and "Large Pile of Coins, Mixed."

So, for the vases, I think there were small and large or perhaps even medium sizes as well as the smashed or bunched stuff. I am looking to find out if there were 2xSmall, 2xMedium, 2xLarge, and 2xBunched, or what.

Thanks to those who contribue. JKW

When are you going to have the individual pieces in your spreadsheet?
I believe I have far more money tied up in the individual pieces I have bought over the years than in sets.
I am speaking of the terrain pieces, not the furnishings you just asked about.
You buy what you can get your hands on is how I have bought Master Maze since '97.
