Actually Im getting the Cavern passages set :) And maybe a fantasy starter room. But I doubt it. Depends if I can get a deal on it. and the DoE.

I plan on getting atleast 1 more DoE if I can pull it off now that I fully know the sitution with them. And I really love the look of the caverns, I'm more then likely going to 'focus' on getting more of those, and dabble a little in the basic rooms.

here, here! i love the caverns too. they are classic for almost any setting.

i agree whole heartedly with RF about the "top 5" in that order. with those sets at your disposal you'll be in killer shape. the only other one i'd throw in is a deluxe room set before the advanced builder just so you can get some nice big rooms going.

Nice setup here! And, I like the terrain boards the you have as well.

I completely lost it when I saw the lighted Balrog on your other post. Very Clever!

I can't wait to see what you do next...

Welcome to the forums, and keep the pictures coming!

I ask because Ive always wondered how much ground a set covers. I know im getting my first ones soon, but Im scared it wont be enough to do anything with.

Looking at the parts list on most of the sets sounds like its almost nothing :|

MrThou,

L hits right on the head ;) I thought the samething, how big can these be? :|

When I received my first set ( Cavernous Passage ) I was like hmm, can i really do anything with this! So I just started playing around with the pieces and came up with a layout 2' x 3' with lots of interesting twists and turns great for a small scrimmage! :)

Then when my second set ( Room & Passage ) arrived. WOW! combined with my other set my new layout is a sprawling 4' x 5½' with all kinds of space for adventurers to explore!

TAB,

Awesome, I Love the Way the Caverns Look with those Hill and Cave Set Pieces... And Of Course The Daleks are Great, I Baught a Set of those A long time ago, there were Maybe Ten or so of them and also some of the "Cyber-men"... They were Plastics, and they were Cheap... I Use them as Generic Sentry Bots (The Daleks), and Sci-Fi Constabulary (The Cyber-men) for Miscellaneous Sci-Fi Games... Your Paint Jobs are Very Good on those...
