LOL…No, I’m more like a 70’s Judges Guild supplement...

Although the Invincible Overlord could be a patron of massive construction projects....

IO, awesome display, as usual for you. That's a great tip about the water sheets. Which texture are the sheets you used in this picture, calm water, agitated water, choppy water or stormy water? Is there a particular texture you like better for use with Dwarven Forge scale?

I see the pipes there again. I need to get to work on them. I am glad for this angle though. I never would have noticed that there is another spine on either side in silver. Thanks. I love the little sunken gardens. Yeah the wiffle ball is great. LOL. Two for the price of one. Wiffle balls come in many many sizes.

You Know I Remember Watching a Special on the Discovery Channel (Or Similar), about How the Various Temples of Ancient Greece would Contract Engineers of the Time to Create Clockwork and Steam Powered "Miracles" within their Temples... It was Suggested that Many of these Different Religions Would Compete with Eachother for the Adoration (And Patronage) of the Masses by Coming up with Ever More Elaborate Special Effects...

Now Most of the Scematics for these Devices were Lost when the Library of Alexandria was Burned, and There are Few Examples Left today, (And None of the Really Huge Spectacles), but it Occurs to me that Had the Dark Ages Not Set In, Had So much of the Histories of Previous Civilizations Not Been Lost For So Long... Might We Not Have Seen Such Temples Follow Similar Themes as IO's Very Kewl Pictures? I Think that We Might...

I Dunno' IO, this May not be the Most Elaborate Set Up that You Have Graced these Forums with, But So Far it has Definately Moved me on Some Quasi-historical Level... I Really Like this Set up...

Great setup, IO! It's always amazing how the disparate parts, such as wiffle balls and PVC pipe, can be combined into one conherant whole. I don't think "out of the box" enough to find alternate uses for every day items.

Amazing, as always, IO. Really great set-up. I can just see the game going on in there.

Plastruct water plates, they come in 8 1/2" x 11" sheets, like a sheets of paper. They also come in all sorts of different colors and textures. They work great with the DF stuff.
Available in classic craft stores I'm sure?
And/or somewhere online? A link would be great!

CalicoDave,

You maybe right about the Vegas Angle... In Fact I Think You are Spot on there... (At Least in Terms of the Techno-priests In Cahoots with the Engineering Mages of Our Time...<Grin>...) But without the Dark Ages I Think Disney Land and Vegas Both would Have had a Chance to Spring up Several Hundered Years Earlier On Other Continents...<Chuckle>...

Regardless For Some Reason this Particular Set up makes me Feel a little "Tingly"...<Smirk>...
