Those Floor Extenders make for a Great Narrow "Bridge/Path"... Any time You Can Force the Party to Walk Single File...HeHeHeHe... I Think that I like the new "Keep" better...

Tom,

Nice! Great photos…My favorite one is with your son. =) That must be the most amazing thing in the world having this hobby and being able to enjoy it with him. My dad and I had the woodshop. He taught me how to use tools and build all kinds of things. Quality, quality time…

One thing about your setup in this photo, Doesn’t the felt edge around balcony from the upside down passage pieces around the perimeter of the dungeon make you wish you had a bag full of the 1" Floor Extenders. I noticed you have a few in the "Bridge/Path". I only have two =(. A Big handful of these would make that a nice wide -–even-- stone ledge not leaving the exposed underside of the upside down passage piece.

I’ve noticed that I need to order a good amount of these. Several times I’ve noticed how important of a building block this piece can be, and not just in stacking but in standard dungeon layouts as well.

You ever noticed this? And I noticed you use some of the advanced builder pieces. Got any tips?

And again Amazing Layout!

I picked up an ABS, but then I picked up individual boxes of almost everything, but the alcoves and the half corners; in some cases several boxes of the extenders and 6" passages.
The ABS is useful, but some of the pieces are really limited in their utility while others one can never have enough.
Now, we just need a set like this for SF Master Maze!

Yes IO, my son is found of DF like me. Each time i build a keep, he wants to take all the mini to put in it ( 3 d photo )
About the small piece 1x2 and corridor 1x2
i just buy some ( photo 1 )
often i need them

when you build large keep, you always need some pieces like this
and you ere right i need some more to hide the brown parts of the keep

You Know I Have to Say that it is Kind of Cool that after Nearly Two Years Now (Well One and a Half at Least), that Some of the Unique Elements in Peoples Collections are Becoming more and More Familiar... If I ever Happened to See a Picture of That Lava Pit, or the Shots of those Walls I'd Have to Say "Hey, I Know that Gaming Room, That's Toms' from France"...<Chuckle>...

I also admire the shelves. I have only recently started searching for miniatures (lack of money keeping me at bay). Can you suggest some web sites / companies that have products like the shelves, tables with food, hearths with chimney, wizard's tables, etc.? Those are great pieces and I WANT SOME!!! :)

oh, and the dock I saw in one of your pictures. There wasn't a close up, but I'm sure it wasn't standard DF pieces. I'd love to aquire some lovely atmoshpheric pieces, such as the you own/use.

Thanks for any and all tips,

John
