Sure, here are the details:

The stuff I use is called Enviro-tex Light Pour-on High Gloss Finish. It comes in two bottles, which are mixed in equal parts and then dry in about 24 hours. (they actually dry in about 5-10, but it takes 24 before you can be sure it's solid)

They recommend layering it, pouring about an inch of depth at a time -- but you can probably do more. There's another thread with a second conversion I did, that one I did all in one go.

This one I layered to be safe. I tinted it with green and brown acrylic -- you have to be VERY careful, because it gets opaque very fast. You need just a tiny bit to get some color, if you want to see through it (and isn't that the point? otherwise you could just fill it with plaster and paint the surface).

Most good art supply stores sell this -- I've found it at all three of the places I shop at in the Boston area (Pearl's, Utrecht, the Art Store)

Good luck with your custom pieces, post some pics when you're ready!

Thanks for the info...Your pieces came out great, I hope to have as much luck with mine. I will post some picks when I get to that point, but it will probably be a while off yet.
