Hello all, I've been a lurker for quite a while, just thought I'd post some recent pics of our Star Wars Mini setup's. These setups were made with 3 Starters, 2 Accessory and 2 Passage sets. The figs in the pics aren't from an actual match....just setup for the pics.

You can see pics of some of our very first setups at my website in my sig.

Nice setups! I really like the pic of the launch pad. You've got some cool looking scenery/props too. Are those hair curlers that are painted? Clever use! What are the yellow tank looking things? Lastly, does the globe rotate? Those look like switches on either side of it. That would be cool if it does!

Keep the pics coming!

You should snag a Naboo Fighter from Episode I, it wold go really well with the NAboo trooper, and its very nicely on the landing pad like the A-wings, X-wings Etc. One of the Few :( Prequel Micromachines from the Action Fleet sets.

But yeah like the Set ups.

Is this for the Skirmish? if so i can guess the doorframe/computer thingy Grievious is standing behind provides cover, but what else do you use for cover?

Very, very nice! And really cool-looking, seems like it would be a great game.

Thanks for the kind words.

Dante: Yes those are hairculers. It's a great technique for stacked pipes! The yellow tanks are actually old, old style electronic capacitors glued together. The globe doesn't spin, but after you mentioned that, now I want it to! That is half a speaker wall mount (ball swivel) that I painted like a planet and the switches are used up RC car spark plugs. I'm not much for buying stuff for scenery...more of a scrounger of all things that look the right size. :D

Ghenghis Ska: Ah, I forgot about the Naboo fighter. We've got most of the Action Fleet vehicles, but not that one. Thanks for the reminder that they made it.

Crotalus, again, very creative use of "found" objects. Sci-fi gaming is so fitted to making your own terrain out of household bits and bobs. With fantasy games, you have to do a lot of painting and flocking to "create" terrain pieces. I really like the look of the yellow tanks.

I just came back from seeing Revenge of the Sith and am SO SO close to buying the sci-fi sets now! heh heh...
