Well, my SF sets aren't unpacked from the move yet... and with all the SW hype in full swing, I'm really wishing I had the time to unpack them.

But I did find an old Action Fleet playset from Episode 1. I think it's called "Theed Palace." It works VERY well with the SW minis. Check it out....

Yeah i liked the Trade Fed hanger one as well, it came with a Destroyer droid, that when put on a base looks very well for a mini... ;) cheap way to up your Droidekas.

And L come on Boil that Maul... it straightens sabers so nicely... i just looks funny the saber bent :P

L,

Interesting... I Have Not Seen that before... (Course my Over all Energy Spent keeping Up with Star Wars Stuff is minimal)... Could we see a Larger View of the Whole Playset to get an over all Idea of the Size?

Ghengis Ska,

Hey do You Have Any Pics of Hanger you Mentioned? And as to the "Boil and Bend" Miniature Treatment... how Long do You Boil the Miniatures For? And does that pretty Much Permanently Fix The Figures>

Sorry not a Hanger, it is a Hallway, i'll see if i have any not in storage, the guy where i used to store all of the stuff (terrain, from D&D and general non DF terrain) is moving so had to pack it all up for a bit.

boil and pop (which is the name i learned for it, but was originally developed for custimization of Action Figures) is very simple.

Get water, hot, does not even have to be boiling, just nicely steaming, but if it is boiling you can work with more figures for longer. Get your water very warm, microwave or stove in pot etc both work. When nicely steaming (if you use the stove, and it is boiling, pretty much when you take it off the heat it stops boiling and is just super warm), poor into a cup or bowl what have you (i typically use the stove so i can have a pot boiling and pour some off into a bowl for like when i fixed my entire collection of flattened Battle droids, and when i straighted all of the Lightsabers, or all of the force pikes etc.) then let it sit for like 30 seconds, is all it takes to get bendy enough to move about and reposistion. Then straighten, reposition arms, stand up right etc. If you want to quickly chill them in the freezer or cold water you can and they will stay in postions.

As to how long they stat in position, depends on when they get hot enough again.... haveing left a number in my car over the weekend, the force pikes are all bent again, if you keep them temperature controlled they will stay in the new postions, if they get warm they start bending toward gravity again.

Yeah, it's the "how long" thing that keeps me from doing it. I fixed a few SERIOUS offenders with the RS release (my Hoth rebel officer was performing some elaborate pantomime) but with all the sabers and battle droids in CS I just let it go. It's too much to fix, and it won't STAY fixed. Too much work for a temporary solution. Besides, with plastic minis, I never expect them to look perfect. (also, as an OT devotee, I don't care as much if my CS stuff is flawed.....)

Thanks for the Info Guys... I Guess I Had Put off Trying it for Soo Long that, I find myself a Bit "Overwhelmed" by the Prospect of All of the Skeletons (D&D) and Battle Droids that Would Need to be Addressed... But It is Likely Worth at Least Trying it on a Few to Get an Idea of How Permanent it really is... Anyway Thanks again...
