They took last summer off, and as far as I know there was no notice that they were going to do that. But they are back now with some great new pieces.

I have some of their pieces and they do work well with Dwarven forge, though they do not have the nice storage boxes like DF sets do.

If I ever figure out how to shrink the 3 Mb pictures from my wife's camera, down to something more reasonable, I will post pictures.

First, DDM the blocks look good with the DF MM.
I am not a big fantasy person so y'all do not have to worry about me competing for the product.

Second, WillOH, I like the moniker.
Just finished watching that flick for the upteenth time just yesterday.
It is a classic film that can be seen over and over again.

You pic problem is not too hard WillOH.
Using something like Photoshop or Corel Photohouse and just keep saving at a slightly lower resolution.
Cropping out extraneous surroundings will also reduce the size a bit too.
At least get into a photo program of some sort and mess around; you may find a better solution for you than any I mentioned.
You will eventually get where you need.
Good luck!

Yeah, I go into my HP all in one scaning software, its real easy to shrink stuff down....." Sometimes to small" Hey, can anyone atest to the durability of the mystic block stuff.?? I bought some stuff made from plaster on ebay and the stuff would crumble in my Ham Hand...I mean I was rubing to paint off with my fingers and it would scratch up because the under plaster stuff would just giveway " even with a coat or two of laqure".....Ohhhhhh. I would love to get some of the ruins but don't want to drop it from 1' and kiss it good bye. DF is more durable than plaster by a loooong shot.

I'd say the Mystic Bloks are durable, but not QUITE at the level of DF. I've dropped DF pieces, and from a decent height (by accident!) They've pretty much survived. I once chipped a stalagmite from a cavern piece, but it reglued easily. These things are tough.

The MB stuff is not powdery at all, it's solid, but it's more like pottery. It will shatter if you drop it, though probably into only two or three pieces (so "shatter" may be the wrong word)

From what I've seen so far, they're pretty durable It's dental plaster, so it's not up to DF standards (what does DF use, anyway? resin?)

I've also noticed a lot of bubbles in the finished pieces. They still look good, but if you're looking at it side-by-side with DF, there's really no comparison.

That depends what they used. Excaliber Dental resin is 18,000 PSI and about the most durable thing out there. The bubbles are from not using it properly from what I understand. Here is a link:

Thank so much for that link. I watched all the videos and looked at some of the stuff they can built. I just was not envisioning these molds right. I kept thinking of ridged two piece molds that leave a nasty amount of flash down the center. These things are rubber and the blocks or what ever can pop right out. Yeah, they use a whole lot of diff stuff. I think I have to try some of thier painting methods like the shoe polish. Don't know what I will try to do first. Maybe work up to something like Willypold is doing with the 4" dungeon tiles... Have you seen them?

I am not sure whether I have seen it or not. I have thought about using this stuff, but am more concentrating on making scenery at the moment. I just started a castle wall and towers project today. I used the plans from the Siege of Gondor.
