The treasure at the end. Now if they can just figure out how to get the elven moonblade without summoning the banshee yet again.

3 times and counting!

Very nice, the Mystic Bloks pieces are pretty sweet. They make great additions to a DF set -- I have some of the earlier ones, and it gives a nice "jungle" touch to DF.

I sometimes wish DF would try this sort of thing themselves, but it's probably best to leave it to customizing. "Blank" walls would be more versatile, and hence sell more, than walls designed for one particular type of locale.

Ok, somehow my post disappeared. I'll try again.

The under mat is two parts.

Part 1 is a fabric (different colors for desert, ocean etc, this time I am simulating forest).

Part 2 is a couple of sheets of plexiglass that I originally overlayed on a battlemat and traced the grid with a yard stick and a sharpie.

This setup lets me do towns or other open areas but still have a sort of color theme. I still use my regular battlemat and of course Master Maze!

I have an order with Mystic Blocks for the very same stuff. It's my first experience with the company, so I was wondering how the paint matches up with the DF stuff. Do you have any comparison pics?

The ruins stuff looks really promising. I'm looking forward to integrating it with my DF setups.

The stuff I have runs a little lighter than MM, but not too much. The change in the style of brick is more noticeable. They won't fit seamlessly in as if they were made by DF, but they won't stand out like a sore thumb, either.

I'll try and post some comparison photos at the end of the weekend.

They are not a perfect match but you don't want them to be as they are transition. I have used them near cave entrances and then merged them into DF pieces.

Now I am waiting for Dark World pieces. Sigh...the sketches looked promissing.

Thanks for the info, L. I'll also be watching for your pictures, Daggerdale.

It seems like the Mystic Blocks stuff works well for above-ground setups, which is something I'd like to see more of from DF. Assuming the ruins stuff I bought works out, I'll definitely buy more.

And I can't wait for Dark World, either. Looks like Fall at the earliest for that, which sucks a bunch, but what can you do?

More time to save up for it, at least. :D

I got a sizable order from them just after Christmas, they closed shop thru Feb and Mar to remake thier molds and introduce a couple of new pieces. They are very much still in business.
