Hey Tom,

Don't worry about your English....it is good! Beside, we are speaking the language of DF

How did you get it to look like some rooms have fire/lava?

Chez!! You win Tom!!! :D

Like the water with alligators(?) (Bite, Bite, Drown, Drown)

I hope you have cool players who appreciate all this. Was this lay-out a "real" Dungeon that was played? or a Photo-opertunity? :D

Looks like it would be a blast to go thru..........

if i understand well, you wonder if i play these caves or if it's only for the photo?
i play it of course. I cover the dungeon and i play it with youngs players ( about 14 years old )
here is a example of my last play ( it's in french but there are many photos )

Cool Game! I'm glad to see it actually being used! Looks like fun.

My French is non-existant. But It looks like the good guys won.

I play with older players 35++, I could never have gotten them all to sit still for a photo! Our table gets covered in junk food. Very messy. Not very photogenic. (sp?)

Covering the dungeon and revealing bits as they are seen seems to work.

I build my dungeons alone, in advance, and carefully map them. During games I only have to toss out pieces as they are discovered. I know the dimensions of our gaming table and that I've already built this dungeon before so I know I will have all the pieces needed and that it will fit.

Keep the cool pictures coming Friendly French Tom !!!.

P.S. You spell better then I do!!!!

Hey Dagger dale do you know what would kick so much ass with your setups? Felt!

That's right you can get like 3x6 feet of felt for $8 tops. And it helps the whole look of the setup. (Cause I see you tried to make the effect with the bridge and the black sheet under it)

I recommend dark brown or dark green. I'll try and take a pic of my setup and you can check out the effect. :D

Thanks for the felt tips. The setups I posted were pre-game setups. The game room has a 4X8foot gaming table with a great texture that works well with master maze. I also have a couple of binders full of felt of different colors and texture printouts of lava, water etc.

Edited:

I should also add that I found some terrific fabrics that have forsest, grasslands, sand, water and earth and stone patters that would look terrific under a setup. I found them at my local fabric store.
