Where I'm at (Madison, WI), the expansions for Heroscape are practically non-existent. They have some really cool pre-painted minis that I've been trying to get a hold of for ages but can't find anywhere locally. I particularly want the Roman IX Legion. Those guys looks awesome and would make a great city guard for my FRPG!

You Can Try Here...

Dante,

No Problem... Let Me Know what you Think of their Service... I Have had Fairly Good Interactions with those Folks in the Past...

Ghengis Ska,

Toys-R-Us here in Town has the Main Sets but does not Carry the Boosters... When I Asked they Gave me the Best Buy/Books-a-Million Response "We Don't Carry those in House But You Can Order them online"... That Always Annoys Me, If I Wanted to Go Online I Would Not be in Your Store you Know?... Anyway Do You Own any of these?

White Wind,

I Saw that those were out there, How do they Compare in Scale to the WotC Yaun-ti Miniatures?

about the same, the pack has some mechwarriour types also named Snipers? I saw the Roman Legeons at Nan's today. There were two packs of them there. I almost picked the game up and a booster of Gruts, but opted for a Room Set instead...." Old School Room Set that is ".

I bought the box set for the terrain, the figures don'r do much for me, while it might be good to have some Roma legion type troops at some point, the robots were lack luster (my main intrest), and so were many of the alien and fantasy, Terrain packs are about all i'll ever buy for it, rules wise, the game isn't bad, but there is nothing spectacular in my mins about them that couldn't be done in any other system etc.

Hey, Umm,,,, Do those terrain tiles stick together well? They are nice but I can't think of what game I'd use it for.

Yeay, they stack together, and kind of click together.

If you don't have a ton of detailed outdoorsie type scenery these can be handy to get the represntation of a hill, or waterway etc. i don't have much wargaming outdoor terrain, so this works fine for me in ny RPG.

I wonder if it would be good as a strategic map. Like each tlie is 10 miles or so. That way if you have an encounter while putting the tiles down. You can start building the tactical map or close up map....? Ahhh I don't know....
