Dante,

I have an Extra WotC Wyvern... (Not the Same as Getting a Vintage Pewter perhaps, but a Wyvern non-the-less)...

I may just have to take you up on that offer--if that's how I'm reading your post! ha ha...

The one I was after was an old GW model. The Wyvern was in flight with both wings stretched out to either side. The model was held up by the tail. It was pretty cool. I think a later version had a rider/mount on it.

You are then not talking about the Orc Shaman Wyvern then from 10 years back, right?

L--I just talked to my buddy back in Michigan that has the Wyvern I was looking for. He thought it was a GW model (as did I based on his info) but he checked it for me and it turns out it is the same one you have, only he modified it a bit. It's sitting higher up off of the base by its tail and he bent the neck a bit so the head sits up a bit higher.

It's funny how memory works, or doesn't sometimes. I saw your picture and liked the model and that immediately triggered my memory of my friend's model.

Have you expanded the cavern layout you were experimenting with? I'd like to see some more photos if you plan on shooting more.

Yes, I am still working on the cavern layout. I think it will largely be a two-level cavern, but I'm hoping for something on a third level, if only to be eye-level with the McF dragons....

Dante,

If You are Wanting to Confirm that I am in d=fact willing to Sell/Trade my Aberations Wyvern, that would be an answer in the affirmative... (PM me to discuss options)...

Law,

The Local Comic Store Got a Couple of those in, (The Fire Clan, and the Boxed set with the Knight on Horse Back, I Did not Buy them because they were about Five Bucks more expensive than what I had seen you Post)... They actually look very Nice, And I LOVE that they are Colosal-ish!

Yeah, as I'm sure you know, comic shops charge more. You were right to pass -- these guys are going to be EVERYWHERE, I see them all the time at TRU now, and TRU charges $11 for them. No reason to pay more. To be totally honest, even at $15-20 these are the best dragons yet, in terms of size, detail, and value -- but why pay more if you don't have to?

And, to be fair, I qualified the praise with references to size, detail, and value, because I know not everyone is going to be crazy about the designs. In my case, for $11, I'd have to LOATHE the designs to pass. I posted repaint pics in part to show what could be done with them if you don't like them "as is." But certainly I can see people choosing to pass on these at any price -- they're very "particular" looking, and they certainly don't look like what many of us would expect from a D&D dragon.

I'm still getting ready to try a gematic on one of them -- I really want to try a sapphire dragon....
