All

It's been a while that I have posted pictures here. So long overdue.

The pictures show my latest Pathfinder Society board that I take to conventions. I was looking for a scenario that was seldom played - so I could use it at least a few times - and that would fit on a single board 2*3 foot. The reason for that - this fits perfectly into the small second boot of my car that is just under 1 1/2 inch high.
So I can have a full set-up in my car whenever I need it. Also - in my case I always do advertisement to show new people who never have seen DF. So this time I tried something new - I deliberately didn't use a single style but did a mix-and match.

The board is cheap plywood. I used some self-gluing strips to form the outer boundary. This ensures nothing moves during transport.
The courtyard has one row of Hirst-Arts flagstones that also double up as the inner boundary to prevent movement.
I did glue some strings to the board to create a grid before I added the grass.
Eagle eyed people will notice I cheated and there is one 'square' that is 1 1/2 times the width. HA and DF work well together - but even a single millimeter difference will add up over a large display. In my view it doesn't matters that much. I still get a wow when I show this to someone who never has seen DF.

DoE - the temple
MBS - kitchen and storage
Game Tiles - Workshop
Classic - library
RotA - Meditation chamber and monk quarters
Woodland Set - garden and other non build up parts in the monastry

I hope this is a good example for someone asking himself - can I mix and match?

You can - to your hearts content. The style might give a clue what to expect - but that depends on you if you find this positive or negative.

Looks great, thanks for sharing. I thought about getting the forest set but didn't think I would use it enough to justify the cost.

Great idea to mount it like you did, I usually build them then take a pic then build them again during the game.

Thanks for the feedback. I only put designs on a board for organized play (Pathfinder Society) where I play

Outside my own house
GM a scenario multiple times

Too much effort for my weekly game at home
