Feymous,

Your Set up is SPECTACULAR , I luv every aspect, of it, from the forest fortress above to the watery dragon cave below. all the little details in this set up has kept me spellbound for hours. I must of looked at every picture , zoomed in and out 10 times. I love the outdoor stairs leading up to the scrying basin, so simple yet so awesome with the Grendel pillars stones. The entire setup is so real looking , it really transports you right into it.

Game on

The surface covering most of my table is a Frontline Gaming mat. I ordered several during their Kickstarter, but the mats are now for sale on their website. I’m very happy with the quality, the image is extremely detailed and the mat is heavy so it doesn’t curl-up or wrinkle (reminds me of a thin mousepad).
Another company making mats is GripMats. They just finished a very successful Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/bfrgames/gripmat-get-a-grip-on-your-game?ref=live

Feymous,

Thanks for the links to Law's jungle setups. Those are indeed outstanding! I guess I'm going to have to go hunting for some more plants. I'll definitely post some pics when I get something I'm happy with!

And once again, amazing work on the Sacred Spring Siege. Your explanations make it even more clear how much effort you put in for such a great result!

@ rydendragons and Teulisch - Thanks for the positive feedback guys :)

@ Shadox - "Quintuple YRTFW", woo hoo!!! Really excited to receive this. Having browsed through almost 10 years of "Cool Photos" I know these aren't awarded very often. Thanks!

@Feymous

if you don't mind me asking, how long does a set up like this take to do? and how long for your players to burn through it?

I am still learning how to do setup. for the most part I do a basic set up and have players build on the fly as they explore more of the map.

your set up would cause several geekgasm at my table. :D

Having just seen this I am just blown away....it is exactly what I had envisioned for the Set but even better! Thank you so much!! This is why I love doing what I do even more than painting pictures perhaps....when I paint a picture for a wall it can only be gazed at....but when I create something for dwarven Forge(or when Sandy Garrity does in this case) it is not something static...it it like a Gift to someone else, a passing of magic that once given gets new life in the hands of another creator, an architect of imagination...

Bravo!

Bravo!

Bravo!

I do believe this is a forum first.

Not only a very rare quintuple (!) YRTFW, but a triple Bravo! from Stefan himself.
