The intention of this little project was to throw together an impressive staircase similar to the Lord of the Rings staircase somewhere in the Mines of Moria.

This is certainly a work in progress, but I thought some might enjoy it.

I'd like to see how other people are using stairs as well.

Here is a "pro" tip...

Mini's don't like to stand on stairs.

So take one of the small stair pieces and flip it over.

You now have a very stable platform for your mini to stand on when his/her movement allowance stops halfway up the stairs.

You can see this for the barbarian in the last photo.

Nice Stair!

I wish there was more of the bigger stair pieces in the Grand Stair Pack and possibly less of the smaller ones. I think there is much more use for the bigger pieces than for the smaller ones. I also think the very small stair piece used upside down to put minis standing straight in stairs was thoughtfully sculpted by Stefan to be used in this way.

One of Tom's classic link for inspiration.

There's another Moria stair setup from him hidden there.

@Biowizard

Thanks for those links. Super inspirational.

Tom's setups are just out of this world. A tiny bit intimidating... lol but he has an incredibly impressive collection!

I didn't see the stairs in the second link... but I saw many wondrous things.

Man... who wouldn't love to just play in there for a day?

Hey, everyone's collection has to start somewhere.

That would be the 2nd set of image after the word "arbres", which means trees.

@biowizard

Found it thank you. Man... again these setups are just crazy crazy craziness... in a good way.

But I just had a neat idea for some of my extra doors... off to do some tinkering.

Look for a new post coming to you soon...
