Yeah, i looked at that human "mini" and another reason i passed at the $20,... mark down for $10, i'll buy it.

But ugh, i had spent enough money that day already on Star Wars figures... heheehh so couldn't shell out the extra on other stuff.

CVol... hehhehe, i Worked at a Toys R Us while in grad school to fund my Star Wars Habbit. there are three main store Types: A Volumn, B Volumn and C Volumn. (then within i think they have various classes). C Volumn in general are the CRAPIEST stores they have the lowest in sales volumn, the get worse stock, get dumped with old invontory and typically have lots of stuff on markdown, from a long time ago. Kind of like a Toy Liquadator, but instead of being the Dumping ground for KB-Toys they are the dumping ground for Toys R Us.

They are not all bad, they still get new stock, but while a B volumn (what i worked in) gets the latest toys and like depending on the brand etc 6-10 cases in the first shipment and then 1/2 as many 3-4 weeks later, the C gets maybe 3-5 then if lucky 1-2 when the second waves come from the Distrubition center... once all of the good stores get stuff and stop selling however the Distrubution center dumps all of the things from 4 months ago on the C volumn to make room for new things... (or at least that is what it looked like when i was working and talked to my managers and made toy runs for new toys.) If you travel to find toys (which many collectors do) you have probably hit some of the different classes, we used to like the CVol stores becuase they were a good place to try to pick up things from an older line, that you may have missed, and for McToy Collecters (Chris a friend from another Lab and Huge Godzilla and other big gaint rubber monster movie flick fan) liked a number of the McToys and when the used to (do they still do this qith McCrap toys?) release Repaints like 3 months later. So Chris either would have to hold off on some things, check out the repaint, then go looking for the oringal at the CVol in Manchester, or buy two... which is what McToys banked on in the begining people buying two. And one of the reasons they would purposly make Varients, not even talking paint varrent where there is a differnce in the paint job in a minor ways, but the same figure with like 4 different weapon and Accesories versions, some purposfully "cooler" than others, and then make different numbers. To try to sell like 6 of the same figure... one of the reason i hated McToys... and people complain about WotC and VR...

Here are some pics of the boxed set dragon. He's VERY large, and though you can remove the horse and rider, the flames are NOT removeable, and they clearly stop at a certain point....

Basically, this one probably doesn't work for minis. ;( Still, for dragon fans, it's not exactly a bad set to own....

Thanks for all of the Input Guys... You Know I always Pictured Dragons as Being so Massive that Humans in comparison really were little more than a Nuisance... Now, I Think it is great that there are Stats available for different Ages/Sizes of Dragons, because it allows PC's to encounter them much earlier on, and the Fact that WotC thought to Produce Dragons in so many sizes is Excellent...

But what was Missing in my mind was that Colassal Dragon that might be unlikely to be encountered but you want on your Shelf to Keep the PC's in line

So it seems that although Massive, these Dragon Miniatures, (Megatures?), fill that Niche?

In any event As Stated already, Nice Work Law.

Tom,

As Usual you have done a Fine Job of Fusing different Formats. In this Case your Paint Job to Match DF looks like it is fairly well done. Could we See a Few Closer Pictures of the Rock Stand itself on the DF Cavern Floor? (Without Miniatures Blocking it)?

Tom,

I Like those Pictures, they do Your Work on the Stand of Rocks better Justice. Also I like that you could use the Rocks by them selves too, as extra Terrain within the Cavern sets. Thank you for Posting the Close up Pictures.
