Long time DF owner (though I've rarely used them!), new to the forums. I'll be in here more often as I'm going to be beginning a dungeon crawl game at some point (almost finished with my Old West game!).

Nothing too fancy or elaborate, just some pictures of random set-ups, and one play-testing session from years ago. Love the stuff, and have more than is pictured - including a couple of the new Kickstarter sets arriving tomorrow. It's about time I started devoting the energy to outfitting the dungeons properly.

I love the MBS floor/bear carpet idea used underneath the throne as a pedestal! Clever use.

I don't think I've seen a nicer mix of room and passage pieces. Very clean looking layout, Elbows! I assume the rectangular room sitting by itself is the second story level. Which stairs lead to it and what's in it?

That's a darn good question...the layout on the beige cloth was never played on/in. I was more doing an inventory of the pieces, having recently moved across country. When I start work on my game, I'm not sure how I'll do dungeon progression, so rooms may be separated on the table, or I'll use the old "cloth over the map" trick etc.

I do think that "separate" rooms will be used for any secret doors (rotating wall pieces etc.)

That way the characters have to genuine inspect the pieces as they walk by to see if they can find any trap doors etc.

I'm anxious to pick up some dressing packs or start collecting nice resin interior bits as it's been a while (had many of these DF kits sitting in boxes for over 5 years now...).

I'm anticipating the project!
