Once again nice job!

Tom, please move to Ft. Lauderdale U.S.A. we could use you in our crew. And the heck with the language barrier we all speak “DF!

Quick question, is the entrance/exit of this maze a Barrel of Beer? It looks like an old cast, talk about “Dwarven Glory.

Nice set-up Tom. I love the 3-D feel of the whole fortress. I especially like the bridge, and the contrast you have between the blue water on the outside of the fortress and the lava or fire inside that square area and in from the lava fountain and that other round piece.

Invincibleoverlord, you live in Fort Lauderdale! I work in Hollywood, FL and live in Miami. Your set-ups you've pictured on this site are awesome too. I love this picture area on the site. You guys have given me many ideas for using my Dwarven Forge and other accessories in new more interesting ways to dazzle my players. Although right now, since D&D and Dwarven Forge dungeons are still new to them, I haven't even had to work very hard yet to get the "Oooh" and "Aaaah" that every DM likes to get from his or her players.

Guys, stop making my head spin.

I was BORN and GREW UP in Hollywood, and went to school in Ft. Lauderdale. Go Panthers! (actually, at the time, we never admitted we went to Pine Crest in public, since there was a good chance it would get us beaten the @#@# up)

I can honestly say I never thought anyone would mention Hollywood Florida to me, unless I went to high school with them.

L,

What year did you graduate? I have a few friends that are Pine Crest alum. I attended the local public school in Pompano, Ely High and graduated in 90.

Zoroaster100,

You live in Miami, nice! not to far away. Send me a PM if you want to hang out sometime. We’re always looking for new DM’s/Player’s with like minded ideas about gamming.

I graduated in 91. (le sigh) Tell me you knew Sharon Arad or Jeff Marx and I'm leaping off the roof right now.

Small world indeed, though I was not born in South Florida. I came to Miami when I was ten, lived all over Florida, then went to high school in Palm Beach Gardens, and graduated in 1988 from Palm Beach Gardens High. I played D&D and similar games since I was in Middle School through first year of college, then got back into it when I saw the news about D&D 3rd ed. in 2000. I convinced my brother and his girlfriend to give gaming a try about six months ago, and they loved it. So we added another friend as a player and we have a blast each time we play. But our schedules are almost mutually exlusive, so we only get to play once every three or four weeks these days. On those days I set up a gaming table with all the DF or other scenery, and use sound effects, player hand outs, etc. So far the players have complimented the games I've run each time, so that's made me a happy DM.

Invinicibleoverlord, I'll send you an message. It's always nice to meet interesting people that are into this hobby.

No, I don't know them so get down from the roof  . The guys I know who'd be close to your class would be Derick Cordova and Harris Indowsky. Both graduated in 90

L, you ever get back this way?

zoroaster100, I got your PM, I'll e-mail you soon.

Holy -- #$%#@$ You knew Harris?!?!

Um, we may have met. Did you know him when you were in, like, seventh or eighth grade?

I was good friends with him when we were young, we went to camp together. We sort of drifted apart in middle school, he started getting into ... things... that didn't interest me. He left PC before he graduated.

Derick was into jazz, too, I think, if I remember correctly.

Last time I saw Harris was right after we graduated, I ran into him at Grad Nite in Orlando.

Somehow I suspected this was going to end up freaking me out more. Funky, funky, funky.

Funny Lawrence,

 Harris is here with me reading this right now. I’ve had to resuscitate him from shock; his cobwebbed mind isn’t capable of such a blast from the past he’s telling me. Wow, small world guys. I’ve been friends with him and Derrick for about six years now. We meet through a friend at the old Comic and Gaming Exchange before it became PPF (Past-Present-Future). Give me a PM with your e-mail so Harris can write you. Too Cool!

Zoroaster100,

I haven’t forgotten about you I’ll e-mail you by early next week.
