I gotta admit, I'm out of names. sigh.

Anyway, still not SUPER wild about the township layout -- without roof pieces or my GW scenery buildings it doesn't feel as complete as it should. Still, I think it's impressive how just basic DF elements lend themselves to a reasonably convincing hamlet layout.

The signs are from a Rackham accessory blister, I believe, though it's been so long I may be wrong about that. The small cisterns and troughs of water as well as the sacks of grain and other harvest items, I can't recall what small company made them, but I found them at a hobby place.

I like the effect of various crossing walkways and narrow alleys, etc. Still working on the concept. Next time I do something like this, I'll probably use the solid water pieces (or ones with just one corner of land) to have the water right up against the floor pieces, rather than using the river. In this case, I happened to have the river out from my various jungle layouts, and I decided to incorporate it into the city.

A few more.... no large overhead shot this time, because frankly it doesn't look that good.

Thank you for the many, many new ideas! I'm still getting started with DF, but as my current campaign is a maritime one this layout gives me something to aspire to.
