Journey into the Den of Evil... 1 Year, 3 Months ago
I realized that I should probably have labeled these as "Kickstarter Introductions" because these have all been somewhat small, basic setups involving a moderate number of sets from the various DF settings. I've done it because I've been on a real DF "kick" lately, and I haven't been able to settle on just one style. They're all my favorite!

In any case, I took out some Den of Evil stuff and made a somewhat routine layout. Mainly I just wanted to get some photos of the set itself, because this is such a popular DF setting and the details in the architecture are so awesome. I didn't pull out the DoE expansion set, with its blood pit and large floor and dragon archway, but I did pull out the WA set, which has that phenomenal double doorway. And all the bronze and red highlights...

Of course, that doesn't mean the place is TOTALLY uninhabited. These three discovered that fact, to their extreme displeasure....

WOW - awesome pics!

I am on hold waiting for my Kickstarter order, one small (or really big as temptation made it turn out) step at a time.

These pictures just rocketed DoE to the top of my want list, very very cool. You should be on the payroll ;)

Thanks for helping all of us newbies learn the potential of our new toys. Not to mention helping to keep us busy while we wait ever so patiently (124 days til October...).

Worth mentioning again- great minis and beautiful painting. Populating a dungeon makes it sooo much more interesting to look at, and you have a knack for great groupings that really tell a story. I especially like the shot of the backs of our three heros where the bad guys (gals) are out of focus... perfect!
