Still lots to do insofar as dungeon decor but this is the basic layout.

Nice looking layout and I like the multi levels!

The chessboard is cool. Conicidentally, on my to do list today is start painting a set of DF floor tiles in a chess board pattern for an upcoming convention game. But if I run out of time I will look at using a chess board like you did. Great idea!

Over 143 Sets (Expanding), 300+ Loose Pieces (Expanding), 11,000 plastic figures (Expanding), 1,000 metal figures (350 actually painted)

Thanks Guys,

I tried several things for the chessboard (Excel / Printable Chessboards) but the miniature travel chess set was defintely the way to go.

I will try to get some pics of the final product up this week.

PS - How do you insert a line/space between posted pics?

Awesome! I love the chess board idea. It filled my head with ideas. I am now thinking about incorporating something like that in a Harry Potter like puzzle with chess pieces and my players being forced to figure out the final move to checkmate the king in order to pass. One of my players is a huge chess fan (as am I) and I could just choose a relatively simple endgame (maybe 2 moves out).
