Arcarius2001,

I'm glad you like it! In my mind, flat file cabinets are the best option for storage of classical Polystone DF pieces (not Game Tiles) when you do not need to move your collection around AND you want to build your setups on the fly with ease of access.

LOL, It seems that even a sale representative of Office furniture can be a Dwarven Forge fan, Welcome! I would suggest the following link for one of the "cheapest" new flat file cabinet to be bought online. I still recommend eBay for the best bargain!

On a side note, Game Tiles probably just necessitate a big box...

There are some nice ideas in here. I am currently using massive file folder cabinets from a business that went out to store some tools. I am thinking of converting them to storage for my hard push into the miniatures and terrain hobby.

I do have an off topic question for Biowizard; can you recommend any places to acquire small scale rugs or are those your own work?

My players rue the day I bought "Dragon Mountain". Ever since they give every creature a bit more respect. You never know when the GM will decide that this group is crafty...

LordDust,

I got my carpets from: www.miniaturewovencarpet.com
There are plenty available on eBay too!
They are cheap, beautiful and actually made of woven fabric.
Most are made in Turkey and ship for a few dollars.

Thank you Biowizard, that site is fantastic! I also saw that they are willing to do custom work, I may have to look into that. Imagine having a rug with the heraldry of the kingdom that is the main focus of your campaign for throne room scenes! There may also be some tapestries whose art is public domain that could be done using their services... so many possibilities. My wife may shoot me yet!

I've always wanted a flying carpet woven like a map of the game world, with detail maps at each corner.

I never imagined there might be a way to get one as a game prop...

I recently purchased a new dresser to hold my INCOMMING dwarven tiles as well as my original master maze sets.

Then as I was cleaning out my small plastic storage container, that I had all my dungeon dressings in, I realized I may need another. The dresser drawers are deep enough I could do two layers in each drawer.

I would have really liked to have done the flat file cabinets, but they were to deep for my MULTI purpose room, that is a Game room/Bar/mancave/crafting space/poolroom/office.

Now to start planning on what goes where.

A great find, and the prices are very reasonable. Biowizard, you are an awesome source of ideas!

Hey just an FYI to all you America folks out there; I just picked up a flat file cabinet with 10 drawers for 100$ off Craigslist. There are many listed on the site throughout the country - the hardest part was picking it up =) great suggestion biowizard! I was able to fit 8-10 sets of original dwarven forge in 4 Drawers... yes Drawers... yay for typos!
