Thank you zoroaster100! :)

Could you share what inks you use in painting those vampires?
I painted them a while ago so I'm no longer sure which ones I used. I'm guessing a mixture of GW Gryphonne Sepia (3 parts), GW Badab Black(1 part) and AP Strong Tone (1 part, the ink not the quickshade!). But this is no guaranty but it looks like something in that order.
Some effects on the vampires where not made with inks. For example the transition between the shades of brown on the wings were made with an airbrush.

I wish I could answer you this question more precise but I experiment a lot with washes/inks. I use all of the old GW inks, a couple from Reaper and the three inks from Army Painter. Sometimes I even use the Quickshades from Army painter but not as one would regular use them (no dropping the whole miniature in) but carefully applied with a brush in an ink like fashion and after the Quick-shade is dry and has gotten another spray of matt varnish I proceed to paint the miniature further. And I started experimenting with inks I made from oil-paint (oil-paint mixed with white spirit) and I only recently started to write down different "recipes" because normal life has become so stressful lately that when I finally find the time to paint again it sometimes gets quite difficult to remember which paints/inks I mixed exactly and in which ratio for a certain effect.

But I hope this helps at least a little bit. :)

That is a nice set up. You are a talented painter.

I noticed the outdoor board was marked off as a grid. Did you do this yourself or did you purchase this from a company?

Thanks

The hotzmats are great. I have two of them. I have the largest size and the half size. I first saw them in Kronos' set-ups. It has now become one of my favorite accessories.
