Clever and inventive! The flying effect is jaw dropping.I really like the flying carpet, well made. At first glance I thought the cloud was made with cotton balls,so great job makeing them with polymer clay.Thank you for posting this!I look forward to seeing more of your set ups.

As there was some error when I was clicking on Rodenbach's link to his "levitation table", here is hopefully a functional link: www.pearl.fr/decoration/decoration-dinterieur/objets-decoratifs/plateau-de-levitation-magnetique-magique_NC8254.html

It retails for 80 euros.

Impressive job by the way!

I would love to see a tutorial on how you made your cloud and flying carpet. Clouds like this would make for a fun roleplaying session in the sky. Perfect for a "Jack and the Beanstock" type adventure. Can you post any links to your method?

Thanks in advance. This post was very inspiring.

Well in fact, it is quite difficult to do a tutorial for this as I sculpt it my self into a polymer clay with my little ugly fingers. I used a translucent paste. And passed it into the oven to harden the paste.

I used Fimo paste, you can find some tips to work it on this site. It is mainly used for dollhouse accessories, mini fruit and vegetable slices, nail art, jewelery, or creating small figurines. You will find lots of tutorials on YouTube.

I think that it is mainly a "girl" as I never saw any tutorial made by a guy or a "kid" stuff as professionals use Green Stuff or other sculpt pastes that are harder and better for small details. But in this case, for ease, I prefered to use Fimo paste as it is easier to work and also because I didn't have to work on small details.

For Jls304 :
I forgot to give you the link for the ark. It comes from Crocodile Games. They have lots of very nice stuff.

Well, I must compliment you on the nice puffy "look" you achieved with your clouds.

Well, I have to admit that the cloud shape looks better on a picture than in reality...

Well since no one said it yet, I have to say the use of magnetics in a Dwarven Forge set up is quite attractive (or should I say repulsive considering the scientific circumstance of this use? - haha).

Really though, my applause for your unique efforts Rodenbach.
