Heigh ho -- dwarven mine, take 3! 1 Year, 1 Month ago  
Got my cavern set and river set to replace the ones that were shattered during the move. And I couldn't resist putting together another dwarven mine, complete with N-scale railroad track, mining carts, and tons and tons of dwarves (both GW and Reaper).

Great setup! Love the levels, the river disappearing into the caves, and all the mining accents. I will definitely be "borrowing" some of these ideas. I see pieces from the Cavernous Chasm set, can't wait until it's back in stock.

This is great. I certainly hope to do something similar for when my Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil group reaches the Crater Ridge Mines. :)

Addicted to DF - Proud owner of 147 DF sets and counting = 126 new non-bowtie sets, and 21 older bowtie sets! By some miracle, I have managed to avoid wife aggro so far...

Aw, thanks guys! Glad you like the pics. Here are a handful more -- these are some of my favorites, I have to admit. I really like the shot from "inside" the grotto, looking out through the cavern entrance to the larger cave complex.
