Great gaming basement. I need to make a video of my gaming basement some day.

Sorn,

my best bet for this new Set to come is the Sewer Set. You can find more "secret" info here.

My second guess is something that would in my mind also perfectly fit underneath your huge medieval town: a Medieval Street Set.

Amazing set up as always, thanks for the tour! Now I don't feel I'm the only one monopolizing the basememt for gaming. I showed the video to my wife, who very generously accepts my gaming hobby, and she was impressed (it garnered a "Sugoi!"). As she is a non native speaker I got to explain "merely tolerate" the hobby to her.

Always enjoy seeing Sorn set ups.

Thanks for the very generous and kind words, guys. You guys really get me jazzed up to keep making new dioramas and sharing them with you. It really is nice to have an audience that has an appreciation for the effort that goes into creating these mini-worlds.

I really think that all of us DF fans and RPG fans are cut of a different cloth than so many others in this world - we have an imagination that inspires us to create fantastical realms and stories, and a yearning to free our minds beyond the mundane realm in which we all were born. Many look at our passion with a baffled and perplexed eye, wondering why we bother putting so much effort in what they perceive to be a silly waste of time or, worse yet, childish pursuits. They just don't get it and, likely, never will.

I salute all of you and am particularly grateful to DF for providing such an outstanding forum for us to share our passion with each other.

Addicted to DF - Proud owner of 147 DF sets and counting = 126 new non-bowtie sets, and 21 older bowtie sets! By some miracle, I have managed to avoid wife aggro so far...

Stunning!

When my wife and I finally buy a house, I would love to be able to have the kind of space to set up a large dungeon or diorama like that for my players. I'm very jealous, sir.

Sorn,

It’s been said a dozen times already, but I’m compelled to echo the sentiment, your room is amazing! Some people dream of the day they can buy a sports car or a boat, I dream of owning that much DF and having the space to store it. The posts I see on the forum are a constant inspiration (and a way to vicariously experience a truly epic gaming environment). Now I just need to find a house in California with a basement…and buy about 100 more sets of DF. :)

It is really nice to be among others who share the same passion for gaming and diorama building. I feel like you are all kindred souls!

Glad to hear I’m not the only one who feels this way. I was so excited to discover DF a couple months ago and doubly excited to find an enthusiastic and friendly community of collectors on the forum. I’m constantly pulling my husband over to the computer to show him the awesome setups people have posted. He tells me I’ve found my “people”.

Thanks again for sharing!

I've commented on your you tube channel but i'll repeat it here. Your setup is nothing short of inspiring and out of this world.

Thanks for sharing ... master

Thank you for the tour, that was just so great and inspirational! I smiled a lot viewing this.

Sorn, thanks for sharing that.
Ever so slightly envious.. I think your setup and your collection is stunning.

It is obvious to see you have a reall enthusiams for gaming and have been fortunate to have an income to support it.

If I could just have part of that setup, it would be the space! The one thing I am very envious about over in the US and Canada, is that your houses tend to have larger areas than the equivalent price bands here in the UK.

In fact I think I could fit my house into that basement.

Hope you will post some more videos and photos of any future layouts. They are a pleasure to see.

Cheers.

I too envy the space but I am in the States. Currently I live in an apartment while finishing graduate school. Once I am finished (hopefully this December) and if I find a job (*eek*) I will move and look for a house with a basement (especially if I end up in the burbs). I already know I want a bar, a brew station, a game room, and a work station. Thats all I need...beer and gaming (oh and my wife and two dogs - just in case she is reading).
