Owlcon 2012 2 Years, 6 Months ago
Every year, my friends Angelo, Tim, and I run a Master Maze event at Owlcon in February at Rice University in Houston. It's two sessions, and here are the setups that we used this year.

Basically, the Doomguard are attempting to destroy the multiverse from atop a Mayan pyramid -- the con had a "2012 -- Rocks fall, everyone dies" theme that we tied into. The heroes are a motley band of unwilling allies from across the multiverse, and we loaded the characters with alliances and enmities within the group, and secret ties to the individual Doomguard leaders. As a sort of experiment in PC psychology -- would they be willing to put off temptation long enough to save the universe, or would taking revenge and jacking each other be more important.

The answer is no. They started knifing each other long before the Doomguard leaders were on the ropes...I love PCs.

Ah, ran afoul of a size limit, and it failed gracelessly. Well, hopefully these will now upload.

Awesome! I love the use of the WA3 fire wall as a "portal" (or, more accurately, portal obstacle!)
