@ Law thanks for the really cool combo sets idea. It all makes perfect sense now on how to match up different sets.

@ Thod & Law thank you for the idea of combining sets. I think that gives the dungeon a lot more excitement and suspense. Thod thank you for all your suggestions. As you will for sure notice I did chance some of the room sizes and set ups when compared to the module. Here are photos of my first ever build for tonight's gaming session. This is also my first time ever being a DM. I rather nervous about doing a good job..:(. I hope it will be fun for the players.

Looks Great !! You have some lucky players - I hope they appreciate it. I especially love how you use the Hellscape Set and the large pillar for the round room. This is a really fantastic way to improvice and to add exitement and suspense.

Also a great idea to use just floor plates for the labyrinth. I will have a closer look once I reread the adventure and can compare. Now it seems you have one big advantage towards me - a large enough table that isn't used for breakfast, lunch and dinner to leave the layout.

I had saved up enough for a Sultan table (likely one of the cheaper ones - the Emissary line? would have been better suited for my needs and room size) when I decided to buy a whole container of DF goodies for Europe. And my wife was firm when she said - either a container or if you decide against it you can buy your dream and buy a table (inclusive shipping to Europe).

Well - people here know how I decided.

Thod or should I say now Thod's Bazaar

One of the nice benefits for me starting this business was that it forced me to go to GenCon. It was a tough decision as I hadn't signed anything yet and there was always the chance it wouldn't happen.

But it left me with 4 days to explore. Yes - I spend considerable time at the DF stall and tried to chat with people and explain DF. But Geek Chic was in the same hall and it gave me the opportunity to see their tables in real.

So while I still love the Sultan - to be honest - the Vizier is much more what really fits into my living room and what makes sense. But yes - you are invited to come here.

They were looking for someone in Europe to sell their tables - but no - this isn't me. I first will have to sell container 1 and order container 2.

But hey - I asked Stefan originally 6 years ago and then realized this was too big for me as it only would make sense if you order a full container. And yes - at that time I was regarding 20 feet as a full container.

Something else I think about is to have a small weekend convention. Build up 5-6 tables using DwarvenForge. I have good connections to the Pathfinder Society - so I'm sure I would be able to have GMs and by now they have seen enough of it to feel less scared if I 'force' them to use it during a game.

People could come and play - or just come and browse and buy.

Ah well - still waiting for me container ... And the website is still overdue. But there is progress at last.

I can't wait for you both to see my version of the Sultan table! I had modified almost every aspect of the table. I was able to get it made stronger, better, and in a medieval style for a fraction of the cost. I also have chairs being made as well. The chairs and table are also made in a medieval style. I hope you will like the design and functionality.

My first gaming session went well. The high lights of the gaming session was my role playing the Mayor speech looking for volunteers in the town gathering to be the heroes (adventures). Also me doing some impromptu roleplaying as the characters would fail their reflex saves, which meant the characters falling down e cliff. I enjoy describing in detail what happens to the characters when they have a failed save, fumble, or critical hit.

I want to thank Thod and Pusherman again for the missing of sets idea. I modified the opening to the crypt by using the Wixed Adventures crypt opening. This definitely caused the played some anxiety looking at those two demon heads!

Everyone seemed to really enjoy the 3 hours but only got into the first room of the dungeon. We had a couple outdoor encounters they had to work through first.

Good looking setup! And congrats on your first GM session being a success! But I am curious as tothe players' reacions to the awesome room and the Dwarven Forge dungeon. Most groups are not so fortunate to have a DF using GM.

Yes what did your players think to your whole setup? Are there any more pics of your room about. I'm glad you enjoyed it and all the players did too.

I wish geekchic did plans for their tables i understand why they dont but getting one shipped over to england will be an extra expense ontop of the already expensive table.

What a way to start GM'ing! You've spoiled your players now stating them with that type of expectation for your first time behind the screen!

The three player have all seen the room several times, so they were used to the awesomeness of the room. As for the DF layout they are only allowed to see the layout room by room. They seem to really enjoy it but I haven't gotten a lot of cooments about the DF layout.

My table and chairs should be delivered this Friday, December 23. I was going to wait to send final pics for several reasons. I have a large shipment coming from Terranscapes and Yansolo. Im going to use these items and DF in my photo shoot. I have a company that wants to do a feature story on my room, and they are willing to pay a photographer for professional pictures. I should have the pictures around January 25. The room otherwise is done. If everyone wants amatuer photos then of course I will gladly post those this Frday.
