I agree that a treasure pile the same size as the monster nest would be awesome and I would definately buy it. Those two piles look great btw. Good job sir !

I would also certainly buy a dragon treasure hoard!

If they make a big treasure pile, they might also cut it into quarters so that it can be assembled into one pile, or two adjoining pieces can go together against a wall, or all four can be placed in corners.

A modular treasure pile.

You know, that is a really good idea.

The one thing I truly lack is a decent treasure hoard.

It's the diference between paint and glitter. But with glitter no sculpt, no relief...

Hi Morgar,

I really like your treasure sculpts and all of your products (psomminiature.com/)! The thing I like most about them is that you can actually sculpt items inlaid in the coins (swords, armors and the likes). It adds a lot of realism to what a colossal dragon treasure should look like! I think that what I like most about my treasures, as Harneloot said, is their sparkling effect. However good your painting of gems is, you could never have them become transparent. Perhaps a mix of both techniques would be best? It must have been hellish to sculpt that many coins and I can understand why you made them so big. Finally, I can tell you that the glitter on my pieces are not that two-dimensional. The glue I used was so gooey that it did not make them stick that flat. Perhaps a better photography technique could have brought more details?

p.s. As I'm also french speaking, Morgar meant "has a 3rd dimension" when he used the word relief. Same goes to HeroQuestFrance, when he very often uses the word douane, he actually means custom... damn custom fees!

If there were four pieces that actually fit together to make a single large pile...
