Definitely nice work. Feels more authentic than the typical "opaque green stuff filling the hallway" (like what I use)

!!!
wow it's really an amazing setup!

from what I can understand You start from the grendel grill, and you sculpt the floors of your sewer pieces, using the same "floor design"..correct?
really nice idea.
I like also that you used a different color for the floor..
with this brick color, you add chromatic variety...have you tried also with some green instead of red?
I also used the grendel grill, with a stone block on the top, but your setup it's really more professional :)
on the back of the grendel grill, have you sculpted something/glued another grill or it's still flat?

just a curiosity, because I was palying me too with clear resin in these days..you cast the clear resin on each single 2x2 pieces, or you made a single cast and after you cut the pieces? (I suppose the first one)

compliments again! :)

Thank you everybody for the positive feedback.

@Stefan: I am a fanatic fan of yours and of Dwarven Forge since a long, long time. Your appriciation is a great honor! Thank you!

@Kronos & Dwarf: Kontaktiert mich doch über meine Website, dann schreib ich euch genaueres.

@rydendragons: As soon as I can I will post "how to" pictures on my webpage.
I have seen the huge collection of dungeon accessoires in your "Gaming Room" posting. Very cool. I also have a lot of unpainted dungeon decor. A lot of work to do... <:)

@Endar: That was very observant of you. Yes, as a guidance I took the Grendel Grill (on the picture two of them are glued together) and wanted to model only one sewer-piece. But unfortuately it was not flexible - therefore I did annotherone and anotherone...
In the end I also modeled a wall with an opening which actually works a lot better than the Grendel Grill wall.

I did not try green yet, but it seems to be a good idea. Do you mean all red brick stones should be green or just some of them (water plants/alga)?

I have seen your Sewer Thread. Wonderfull. I love it. :)))

And yes, I clogg every single base and fill it up with "water". It is not possible to cut the bases - the water would break. This means that it's really hard work and not satisfying.
Can you recommend a convinient and suitable water?

yes the idea was to reproduce plants/alga and mud..
you could paint with green all the stones that now are red..but should not be to much homogeneous..because you should reproduce something dirty.
maybe you can use on some point a darker green, in other point yellow, and make some wash with brown..
I'm not sure, if this color scheme is better than your solution, that is already good, it's just something interesting to try.

About a good water product, if you check here, you will find that I'm also still searching for a good product :D

Hi guys!
I have to admit that I don't have a lot of experience with water effect, but either Games Workshop has some Water Effect for sale on our home page as well as the european (?) country NOCH has a suitable water effect which you have to heat up in an oven I think.

The most common resin product I have seen and would recommend for casting clear water features is Envirotex Lite. It is a 2 parts resin product available in all descent art supply stores. Most commonly, it is used as a very thick and sturdy varnish but it makes very good miniature rivers/ponds too! You can see here (www.hirstarts.com/cavern/watercavern.html#set) Bruce Hirst use it to make rivers flowing into a cavern layout. Michael Tiskus from TerranScapes also uses this product to make his own rivers. A lot of work involved... I am planning for now to wait some more in case Stefan decides to go for production of a similar product to what crazy herald beautifully did then building my own stuff. Sculpting is no easy thing either!

I Love DF and I love Hirst Arts and they can work together beautifully. I have 16 Dwarven Forge sets (+2 more and a couple of 6” passage ways “sent to warehouse” and I hope on their way soon) and about 15 of Bruce’s molds (just ordered 3 more of those as well). Between these two artists I have the best of two worlds.

I've looked ionto getting some envirotex lite before to make a sea board but it was priced up at around £50!!!! for a tub that had the official coverage to doa table that size.

There's an old 'make a sea board demo' video on you tube done by the dystopian wars guys that's inspiring.

Has anyone sourced anything cheaper in the UK?
(apparently you're not supposed to ship this stuff as its dangerous)

crazy herald, great website, lots of cool painted accessories there! Definately need to get busy painting more of my accessories.

Question on the pillars seen in this picture:

I didn't see these pillars on your website, who makes these?

Thanks
