Hi Kronos,

How i can miss this post ? Amazing map ! :)

Colors of your minis are very impressive. The big demon's statue looks like to the demon in the Ridley Scott's movie with Tom cruise. Sorry, i don't remember exactly the title...may be Legend, but not sure....Fantastic ! Where did you buy it ?

Thanks to sharing

"Mother night, fold your dark arms above me. Protect me in your black embrace. I sit alone, an impotent exile, while this force, this presence, returns to torment me!" Tim Curry was amazing as the Prince of Darkness in Legend. Great job using him as the statue in your diorama.

And I like how you've brought in Helldorado minis along with Rackham, Reaper, Heresy, and Grendel to spice up your adventures. Evil minds think alike!

Thank you Thraug, Arcarius2001, yansolo, Lord and Kradlo! :)

I meant what were your adventurers suppose to do matching the paints?
Was there a sort of enigma or something hidden to discover seeing them?

I don't use actual riddles or enigmas very often in my D&D battle settings. I'm more a "Big Storyline - Big Adventure - Big Fights" kind of Game Master. But my stories always use intrigue and twisted plots with many different possible outcomes and new directions. So one could say that there are indeed many enigmas in my adventures. But when it comes to the "let's kill them all" part, I'm a fan of the straight Hack and Slay until no one is left standing.

Thank you! It's indeed "Legend". I bought this figure many years ago (could easily be something between 7 and 10 years) and I think it was at a convention but I really can't say that for sure.

Tim Curry was amazing as the Prince of Darkness in Legend.
Indeed! :)

Yes, they do! :) I really like the Helldorado Minis, most of them are really cool. I always plunder miniatures from every game setting, manufacturer or Tabletop for my adventures. Whatever works is fair game. ;)

Thank you all for the feedback! It's greatly appreciated! :)

Does this huge setup really represent one session of your game? How long are your sessions? What game (or edition) do you play?

Somehow I missed these questions that last time I looked at this post. Sorry for that, must have been short time confusion on my side. :)

Does this huge setup really represent one session of your game?
Yes, it does. Every setup I post is a single game session.

How long are your sessions?
Usually 6-8 hours with a 20 minute break for supper. I have many different game groups, mostly true RPG but my D&D Group is more a Tabletop with strong role-playing elements since the main focus is on miniature combat. This is especially true when a big setup is on the table. This means after a short introduction and maybe some character-play it goes straight to the encounter.

What game (or edition) do you play?
We play a low magic campaign with a play-proven mixture of D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder rules.
