TOPIC: Sewers

Sewers 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Hello,
I posted a new setup on my blog (Here)

these are sewers connected with an underground lake, where there is a cult addressed to a Kraken.
The kraken was a toy painted red and white (horrible!)now looks better, then there is stuff from Hirst Arts, Thomarillion, Grendel, and some modified piece.
(I took inspiration for the water and caverns banks from a guy named cartomancien)
on the blog there are the rest of the photos if someone is interested

Absolutely great! Very inspiring setup, I really like your modified pieces.

@Shadbelly: I think the water is "just" some kind of ribbed glass and the color comes from the tablecloth underneath it. Looks really great.
(Please correct me if I'm wrong with the glass thing.)

Nice setup! I really love the octopus. Who makes it?

Clever set-up! Really shows how even a relatively small number of pieces can be used to great effect.

I don't know who made the octopus..was in a pack with other sea stuff (addressed to 3-5 years boys) found in a supermarket 2 years ago.
the "glass" it's a plastic panel for showers, as I said before this gread idea is not mine :) (I used just a water paper map before)

this was what I used for water in past (of course this is not the map of a water for sewers)

this instead is a river with the shower "glass"

I will upload all the photos of these setup in the next days on the blog (there is not DF stuff)

Great pics! What is the water with the squares? I always prefer to have squares on maps so we can move figures easily.

yes also for me the grid it's important,
if I know that there is a good probabilty that the combat can move - on or inside- water I choose the paper map with the grid,
if I think that it's not probable I use the plastic panel...and in this case, if someone start to combat on the water what happens?
in setup similar to the sewers, if the width of the water it's 2 square it's quite easy to imagine a "grid" so I don't worry to much..otherwise I have a "tool" to put on the panel.. a trasparent paper with printed on it a grid:

PS
consider that if you want, you can draw a grid on the back of the plastic panels with a permanent marker.
PPS
the water map, comes from worldworks
www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=27
but you can find similar map also for free on internet

Nice set up!

Just been to look at the worldworksgames web site. Nice too but I'd rather buy DF! :)

It would be nice if Stefan could do a horror shellendrak manor type build for the next MBS style add on?
