My first order of DF scenery came in today!! WOOT!!

Anyway, here is my first ever DF scenery setup. (Made with the items in my sig). I hope this works.

Minus the 6 Long Walls, and Chests. (These items didn't arrive with this order)

Well here are a few up close shots. Sorry for the quality, dark room, no experience, and a cheap camera...

"You summon the wolves, I'll.... make sure nothings on the other side of this door! Yeah that's it!"

"Who said Ettercaps have no money?"

"What the?... Cool, a secret door! Some where safe to sleep tonight."

"This isn't the way out! What's that halfling found now?"

"All we have to do is hold off against this thing until the other teams arrive!"

i guess you're so happy to get your DF
nice pictures but
for the photo, you should take them without flash ( but don't move and put a lot of indirectly light in your room )
and if you take a photo very close to the decoration, use the macro

Happy? Happy? Happy doesn't even come close to it. This stuff is amazing! I am so happy I spent another $1800 on more of it today. I can't wait for the next 3 weeks to rocket by, so that my FLGS's supplier can get it all ordered form Df (directly), and then fowarded onto me.

Thanks, and also for the heads up on pic hints, Tom. Unfortuantely, it was 8:30pm when the pics were taken, so no sunlight, and the two flourescent lights in my gaming room just seem to be in the exact wrong places for photo taking, Damnit!
That and the my El'Cheapo camera doesn't even have a 'Macro' setting! I guess I will have to just stick to aerial shots, and wide shots of my scenery. *sigh*... spent so much on the DF, I definitely cant afford to get a new (better) camera.

6 weeks 'till Christmas, and I am hoping for my order to arrie in 3 weeks time? I may be kidding myself I think. Hey DF (Jeff), if you see a $2000+ order come in from Australia, could you PLEASE give it 'special' notice? (Please ship it out as fast as possible) :(

Thanks
