Hi everyone,

I just posted this picture deep in the bowels of another thread, but I thought it should go in under this heading too...

The bridge and columns are scratchbuilt of wood. Brown inkwash for the bridge, gray primer for the columns.

The water section is 2 mm thick plywood, painted in various shades of green with a sheet of transparency parked on top. My plan is to use Woodland Scenics plastic water to get a more 3-D effect, but the transparency will do until then.

A couple of D&D/SW minis have had their bases primed in gray to see what they look like standing in DF-land. At the moment they have passed from "toylike" to "acceptable". My goal is to transform them into "good", which may or may not ruin the so called collectability. Whatever. They're fun minis for dungeon skirmishes, and that's the important thing anyway!

Willypold,

I forgot to mention it in the Other Thread, but there is something kinda' Humorous about the Rebel Trooper Taking on a Bunch of D&D Monsters... Good Idea though since there are Plenty of Monstrous Critters in the SW world...<Chuckle>...

There has been some discussion on the WotC forums about cross-overs between the games, and if no one else has written a set of rules for that yet, I just may try it myself. Some of the really strange Chaotic Evil beasts look like something straight out of Pulp Heaven... :D

Willypold,

With referrence to the D&D Minis, I Really use my Stuff more for RPG then Skirmish... (In Fact I Have NEVER played a D&D Skirmish Game), and with the SW I have only Played a Couple of games with my daughter, I really bought the 11 or 12 Packs I have, for sentimental reasons, and Cause they Look so Damn Kewl... But I am The King of Rewriting the Rules to Everything... (Currently Working on Combining Clue and Zombies!!!, a very Natural Combination in my Feavered imagination...<Chuckle>...)... So I Heartily Encourage A Set of Cross Over Rules! But even For RPG a lot of the D&D Critters should be highly appropriate Models for SW monstrous Animals...

Ok... So Back on Topic... Nice Pic...(Again)...<Smirk>... :D
