This is a consolidation from a lot of other projects, some posted here:

Here is what you can build with the additional modules (made mostly with Hirst Art) amd also each of the additional module separately.

Please don't mind the paint job, I did it fast, and will need to do it again. As for the bright orange rooftops, they are my original prototypes, they are cast in cheap fragile plaster and Iwill throw them as soon as I have enough newer modules made with stronger plaster done. I only needed them for the photos.

The roof set is limited to houses with 4 or 6 inch in width. I didn't like my previous tests with 8 inches wide modules. As the previous set, the roof pieces are reversible, one side stone, one side MBS.
There are weak breaking points, even with strong plaster, like the connection "hook" for the smaller roof part.
As with the roof bottom borders. I made it 1 tile longer than my previous set, as you can see when they are mixed together. It's nicer, but can be a little more prone to breaks (but it did not happened yet).

The wooden support for second floor can be used also as Market stand, or a balcony (using ramps from DF MBS expansion set) A few pieces like this could make a nice balcony. It has weak breaking point too, but will probably be ok, since the load is never on that piece, because of the cardboard support for multi-level. It is only for the looks, since it would work without it.

The additional broken floor pieces are to be used in a ruined ruined or haunted house.

The stairway and free standing corner wall is to accomodate multilevel, as shown in a previous post.

Double door to be used for a commercial building or stable

I don't plan to, but maybe Stefan will get some of these ideas for the next MBS expansion.

But some of them are harder to manufacture, so DF will probably never make them. In the meantime, if you are minimally good with your hands, you can try to make your own. I use Hirst Art, I find it a marvelous complement to DF. Everything I want for DF that doesn't (yet) exist, I can make with HA. The molds are a bit costly, and you have to get a strong plaster too, and yes it takes a LOT of time to make and paint, but I think it is still worth it.

But don't get me wrong. HA cannot replace DF. It would take forever to duplicate DF with HA, and the pieces would never be as durable and beautiful as DF. HA is great for single projects, or as I do as a complement to DF.

Bravo!

Really nicely done. The same basing/bridging method is also ideally suited to stacked dungeon environments.

Cheers

crioux,

Said it before, and I'll say it again; your DF complementary designs are EXCELLENT!
It would be well worth getting you to make a set of molds of your finished pieces and them use the molds to cast resin. Even if I only made ONE SET in resin, it would be as durable as DF, and if I ever DID manage to destroy a piece, I could recast it! The only problem would be, how many of your pieces would need multi-part molds - which can be a whirling b***h to make. I know - I've made ONE, which was hard enough, thank-you-very-much! By multipart, I mean three or more pieces. Real fun job, but it can be done.

Oh well - we can all dream, can't we? And anyway, I can STILL COMPLIMENT YOU on some beautiful work!

The wodden overhang/support piece is more useful than I originally thought. I will try to send some pictures soon.
