Hey all! Well I got 2 of the corridor and 2 of the room sci fi sets and here it is. I am running a hybrid Space Hulk/Aliens campaign and these sets are so nice. So hope you and enjoy :)

Great pics, man! (wow, here I was thinking I was so original for using Cadians and Tyrannids in these things!)

I have a suggestion for future set-ups, really great -- stack 'em!

Two ways of stacking work really well with these pieces.

1. Put corner pieces on top of corner pieces, to make a small raised level. Great for dropping beasties on unsuspecting ensigns!

2. Put floor pieces directly on other floor pieces, to make stepped areas.

It's incredible how cool and intricate a setting can be just from that simple step. I am always blown away by how versatile the MM line is.

Xwilly,

Thanks for the Pics, these are the Closest Views I've Seen Yet of the Sci-Fi Sets... And I Have to Say that although we all talked about how these could work well for Space Hulk I think you Have more than Proven it... It is also interesting to Note that from these Pics it would seem that the Corridor Pieces are really Brilliant for Details like Panals/ Consoles... Too Kewl...

I noticed on the box pics that the passage sets have great details all over them -- a lot more specifics than the regular pieces.

My only problem is that there is no way to put floors on the "outer" part of passage pieces -- the cross-intersection has great little tubular things with blue domes on them, you can make them out in these great pics, and I would LOVE to have characters interact with those. But they are outside, and I doubt there will be a way to put a floor there. :(

L--you can use the corner pieces if you put something underneath the "blank" space between walls. Open up a corridor and you'll have an internal room. Go to your local DIY or Floor & Tile store and pick up some cheap vinyl tile that will work with your corridor color scheme.

Tom does this all the time with custom-made "floors" for the blank spaces between the corridors.

L,

Dantes' Suggestion is the Trully Elegant one as Plastructs Materials are available in Most "Hobby" Stores, and there are some great textures available... Or I Suppose Even a simple Solution would be to Print out a Floor Section on Paper and Just Place your Set-up over it?
