I had the wifey interested for about 1 minute... until she saw the pic of Flames of war and saw what she thought was a sand trap. I explained that it was likely a forest (felt piece). "Oh. That's why I could never get into your games... it looks like a piece of felt to me."

I had her for 1 minute... oh well... no way to get this thing in stealthfully... I think she would catch the Visa amount.

Nice table though, and thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on durability. I'd like to see if it passes the test of time.

Set up a REALY good Dungeon for her, with the miniatures, and get her to imagine THAT, inside the Sultan table, and then just put the lid on and spread a tablecloth for dinner, with a beautiful candelabra centerpiece and flowers, and fine china at each place, and sterling silver service...

Wow... that is so much cooler than I remember seeing at GenCon. They didn't show the under-tabletop stuff. Congrats to you and a very happy birthday/Christmas!

The under table stuff might not of been there. I know at least the tube storage area.

Actually not sure that gallery has it so here is another gallery.

Jim,

In any event, as the wifey pointed out to me: "Don't you need a bigger table than that?" My excited reply of ordering the grand pubah Sultan didn't quite sit so well given what four of those puppies would run (the size of our games). So until I can afford the Grand Pubah Sultan, I'll just have to drool and wait...

Apparently there is a guy (I haven't already posted this have I?) in Indy who has ordered a table but has postponed it a little because he bought a new house to fit it. :)
